So many nice things to say about Sushant on the way hespoke, but one of the best thing I felt is that he was the ONLY one whom I thought who understood the questions properly and answered it well. Actually , I feel , I probably misunderstood what he meant when he spoke about critical appreciation...

When I saw that 4 min clip yesterday, I understood it better... it wasnt like he was saying BO success doesnt matter to him... It was like what he values more .. personally .. because that is something that would actually help him improve ... he didnt mean he doesnt care about BO at all...

^^ Lol , yea ... I said that in another thread... as long as he keeps choosing roles which are likely to be both a critical and commercial success , he has the .. erm ... luxury to even say he prefers one over the other ... 😛

I felt a bit weird when Sushant kept saying in most of his interviews that he prefers critical praise over BO success, it came across as a vain comment, but the way he explained it to RM was really good, as an actor all he can do is give everything to the role and the film, for months all he does is how to perfect the role and present it the best way possible to the viewers ... BO is not in his hands, he can't do much about it, he doesn't understand it, all he understand is the script and his role in it and when the film releases , critics who see it, praises his acting and his film, he feels vindicated.

I hope he doesn't change his stance and keeps doing films based on impulse, script, irrespective of it's BO potential ... we have too many stars in the industry, now its time for good actors to come forward... have high hopes from this new batch of actors ...
