Manav publicly supported Purvi today, telling the reporters that he had full faith in his daughter Purvi and she didnt do anything wrong! That felt really good! 👏 For the first time, he showed complete acceptance of Purvi as a daughter!
Also liked his condemnation of the reporters that instead of reporting abt the accident at the construction site and workers getting injured, they are reporting faltu sensational rumors!
But his taunts at Soham regarding Sachin earning more than him was rather cruel and unnecessary. Soham is trying his best to earn an honest living and just came to give his first earnings to Manav! What was the need to hurt him with those comparisons?
Then why not calculate how much Manav spent in educating Sachin and what has he spent on Soham's education so far? Zilch! Nada!
Manav really should actively help Soham now to get educated and get a proper job instead of lifting boxes at local grocery stores!
Loved Archu in that scene, how she was trying her best to make dad and son understand each other and get closer. She looked on with tears in her eyes as Manav later put away Soham's earnings with great care and dedicated it to Bappa! She knew Manav was actually very proud of his son but not showing it as he wanted Soham to do better. But how can that be possible without education? Manav, tough love is fine but at least show some encouragement and appreciation sometimes!
Arjun was completely in the wrong today. He snitched about Shalini to Mr. Oberoi that she was actually married. Purvi quite rightly rebuked him, what was the need to tell Oberoi abt Shalini? He made her lose her job! What business is it of his whether Shalini hides her married status from Oberoi or not? Shes not working for his company, is she? Besides this whole business of marital status being a criteria for getting a job is unfair and sexist! Why cant a married woman do that job with the same efficiency and dedication? Height of hypocrisy and sexism! 😡
Oh, that scene of Teju, Savita, Sundari and Vada Pao was sooo tempting! Now I feel like having Vada Pao! Ab kahan se laaoon Vada Pao? Woh bhi teekhi with extra mirch! 😛
