It's the only serial I have ever seen in which characters disappear just like that. Jia Mustafa's character Punni was ended abruptly and so was Mittal's character. They could have shown Punni's heart change and her apologies to Archu and Purvi for her misdeeds, Mittal's apologies too. And the most shocking disappearance was Sunny's. His entire family was wiped out. Instead they could have shown an interesting track of Sunny and Teju's wedding, where some goons come and shoot Sunny, Teju becomes a widow, uneducated downmarket women taunt Teju, yeh to aate hi apne pati ko khaa gayi, and Jignesh announces he would marry Teju, and Archana would encourage her Punar Vivaah, They could have shown Premlata and Snehlata conspiring against Teju thinking that Jiggu would die too.
They could have properly utilized Ovi's character. Driven with madness and revenge, Ovi comes to India, calls Purvi to Maa Kali's Mandir at the top of the hill. She drags Purvi by the hair and Purvi crying desperately, Archu calls Purvi and Purvi can't speak to her, but Archu still hears their voices on the phone, just as Ovi is going to stab Purvi with sword, Arjun comes and holds he Sword, his hands bleeding (my poor Arjun) and he fills Purvi's Maang with the blood, camera rotating round and round loud dramatic music.
And also they should properly utilize Onir's character. Now happily married Purvi-Arjun go to France for honeymoon and their Purvi finds out the truth about Onir's balidaan - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam Track... The montage shows Purvi standing between Onir and Arjun (Just like the scene from Student of The year)
And properly plan the leap... Ovi adopts a daughter in Canada and Pari grows up in India. Onir and Shalini's son comes to India too and zabardast love triangle, with Ankita playing the role of Pari, Barun Sobti the role of Raghav ( Onir-shalini son) and Chahat Khanna (first Ayesha of BALH) playing the role of Alisha (Ovi daughter.) đ
