The latest is that he will be paired opposite none other than Katrina Kaif in Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations. However exciting this combination may sound to the Kai Po Che star and his fans, Katrina is more on the wishlist of the film's team than an actual reality.

Says a source close to the actress, "She has had one brief meeting with the director, and that's it. Nothing after that. At this point in her career, Katrina is not sure if she wants to play Charles Dickens' Estella to Sushant Singh Rajput's Pip in Great Expectations. The original novel revolves completely around Sushant's character." Apparently, Katrina wants to see how Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of Dickens' novel shapes up before taking a final call.
