Sushant Singh Rajput certainly has had an unconventional path to being an Hindi film star. Sushant, who always has wanted to be an actor and says he found 'the process of acting and film making very fascinating', began as a dancer, went to theater, then was on television for two years, considered becoming an engineer, then going to film school, but then the movies came calling and what a film it was. Sushant debuted in esteemed Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che and his performance was critically acclaimed and audiences loved the film and his portrayal of Ishaan.

Now, what is interesting is that though it was a fabulous movie, it was an unconventional start for the hot young actor. Why? Well, it was not your typical Bollywood film, in fact there was no heroine to romance.

However, in his next film, he will be romancing not one but two gorgeous ladies and fans cannot wait to see it!

We are talking about Yash Raj Films upcoming Shuddh Desi Romance, where Sushant is playing the lead in the cool rom-com! In the film, Raghu aka Sushant Singh Rajput romances both Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra) and Tara (newcomer Vaani Kapoor). Directed by Maneesh Sharma (Band Baaja Baarat), the film is fresh and very real love story about the hair raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment.
