I don't think Purvi deserves the hate she receives on this forum. The actions she has taken can be seen as stupid but not all her reasoning behind is wrong. The issue that currently is going on is all started by Ovi. I mean if Ovi had never laid out such a deal in front of Purvi even after knowing Arjun does not love her then this would have not happened. It was stupid of Purvi to agree with Ovi on giving up Arjun for her mother's sake. But any loving daughter would be willing to sacrifice for their mother. So her logic wasn't as wrong as it is being seen. If anything Ovi is the starter of all these issues if she had just accepted her situations back then. Then she would have never had to suffer the misery of living with a man who does not love her. However; Purvi has still made wrong decisions, for one giving up her child for her sister. I understand she felt responsible to fix things between Ovi and Arjun but it wasn't her call. In fact Ovi was the one who was causing the issues, Arjun put in his best efforts to act as a perfect husband. It was Ovi who didn't want to accept what she was receiving and demand for more. Her hunger for wanting more has caused misery in three people's lives including hers. If Ovi had to just learned to act like a sane human being, no one would have been going out feeling the need to fill some kind of void in Ovi's life. Also Purvi being pregnant with Arjun's child, I think everyone is going a little too hard at Purvi for this. Yes, she was pregnant before marriage and by customs it is wrong. But if Ovi hadn't started creating issues regarding Purvi and Arjun's marriage then they would have been married having Pari while being in a wedlock. Purvi and Arjun thought they would be married little did they know Ovi would create such a drama.

So it's not fair to hate on Purvi for repeated mistakes, but it is perfectly fine to hate on Ovi for one mistake. I think none of this would've happened had Arjun not played with the girls at the beginning. In my eyes he is the person who caused all the mess. However, if Ovi gets that much burn for one mistake then I think it only makes sense that everyone else gets their share. Arjun and Purvi committed many mistakes before the marriage deal and after the deal. Ovi might've proposed the deal, but it was Purvi who forced it on Arjun. Arjun married Ovi but many times he showed that he was still hung up on Purvi. Ovi wasn't being greedy in wanting her husband's love. On one hand Arjun asked her to trust him, on the other he told Purvi he can't forget her.

After the whole pregnancy fiasco Purvi came into their lives again. It was shameful that Ovi did not even get to see her dead child because mahaan Purvi made decisions for her. Ovi would've never even known if it wasn't for Punni. I don't even what can be a bigger betrayal than that.

I think all the criticism Purvi gets is well justified. And I have never seen an argument that explains why Purvi should not get criticized for these actions. Instead it's always covered with more Ovi hate, or "she had good intentions." I came here to read a Purvi defense post, instead I just read a Ovi hate post. Maybe people will stop hating on Purvi if you could tell them why through reasons that did not involve bashing Ovi.

It's beyond me why Purvi is labeled as the "bad one"

Sorry if
I leave my wedding for my sister
I gave my lover to my sister
I left my wedding for my mom's happiness
I leave the city in fear of being a bigger problem
I left my baby at a responsible Doctor's home and didn't take her with me in the pouring rain
I am trying to stop my sister's marriage from breaking legally too

should Purvi be sorry for her existence too ?

idgaf what anyone says or thinks- Purvi has a soft and big heart- her intentions are pure but maybe her ways aren't right.

Ovi has been criticized for her share of mistakes, then why can't Purvi be criticized for her share. Whatever intention Purvi has in mind while committing her deeds, ultimately its the end result that matters. All of her deeds have effected the lives of her loved ones deleteriously. If Ovi is wrong for putting forth the deal, then Purvi is just as much to blame for accepting the deal and forcing Arjun to comply to it. Arjun should never have agreed knowing he would never be able to do justice to his role either.

Purvi has done various things like forcing Arjun to marry Ovi and leaving both of them to suffer in a loveless marriage when she could have had Archana accepted using alternate methods. Infact, when Ovi put her trust in Purvi asking her if Arjun was having an affair she kept quiet the whole time, so wasn't she being deceitful because the whole time she wanted Arjun to fess up that he loved her in front of everyone. Even after Ovi wanted to leave Arjun after 1 month anniversary, she asked him to stay put in the marriage and take their relationship further by consummating. Arjun is a rich guy and can afford several good gynacs even from abroad for Ovi, Onir needn't have to be bali ka bakra and leave his city to follow her to Mumbai. She definitely didn't need to swap Ovi's baby. Taking away anyone's right to see their baby for the last time, and depriving their baby a proper funeral is wrong, no matter what intentions. She repeatedly pleaded Onir to do this criminal activity even though she knew it could cost him his career. Although Onir should have has the sense to refuse her. She told Arjun to hide the fact that Pari was their baby from Ovi, when Ovi has the full right to know what happened to her baby and who she is taking care of. She only decided to reveal the truth because her 🤬 was on the line, and she would rather speak the truth before she was exposed by Punni. Even after the truth was out, she left her baby with Arjun irrespective of the fact that he wasn't able to take care of her in hope of fixing Arjun Ovi marriage. What sort of a mother does that? Having continued secret meetings with arjun does make her look bad. Allowing arjun to spy on a husband who has done so much for her including become a labourer from a renowned doctor when she has no concrete proof against him does make her shameless. Expressing to Arjun that she still hasn't moved on from him, when clearly both of them are married is wrong. Constantly interfering in someone's marriage, and getting upset when the same is done with her makes her very hypocritical. Asking her ex to hide things from his wife is wrong. Hugging her ex in the rain after her mother explicitly yells at her about a mistake she made with the same person is wrong. Expecting her husband to understand everytime she has a rendezvous with her ex is wrong, because any normal husband cannot stand the fact that his wife is hugging her ex lover. She assumes its ok for her to have a past and if her husband has a past then she doesn't give him a chance to explain himself properly, that is wrong. Anyways, these are some of her major flaws till date according to me. She does many more hypocritical, shameless and stupid things on a day-to day basis for which she gets rightly criticized for. Ovi is no saint, but she hasn't done anything that is worse than what Purvi has done. Purvi's baby swap fiasco is by far the worst because she has snatched a mother's right to see her baby, idc what her intentions were, it is absolutely wrong.

Purvi does have her flaws, but @topicmaker, you know what the basic thing in life is, no matter how much you do for anybody, you'll always be labelled as the selfish and the bad one. Humans are not kind, they are highly ungrateful.

She shd have tried to make her marriage work in Purvi's absence instead of bashing Arjun all the time.

Explanations for Purvi's actions? Why shd we give explanations again? We have been explaining why she gave her baby to Ovi but it falls on deaf ears. Purvi is bashed for anything and everything she does, not just her baby swap or handing Arjun on a plate to Ovi. Shes called horrible names, vulgar terms are used to describe her, even the actress doing the role is not spared and bashed right and left.

Purvi is also a human character in PR, just like all other human beings in PR she too has made many mistakes? Then why single her out for every action of hers, even the harmless ones? That shows some sort of biased conspiracy against her to malign and insult her at every chance or non-chance!

I have stopped giving explanations for Purvi! From today, the policy is whatever Purvi did is right! So what if she did those things? Shes a human being in the show and has the right to make mistakes!

The way all are bashing Purvi every time silly reason then only say that If Purvi work with an office with Pari then also they blame Purvi that why she take Pari here? How she handle both responsibility. She is careless employee. If She left Pari Day care center then called careless mother. If left with mother or grandmother then also called careless. Why need to job? Then what do Purvi then suggest her. If she not work & with all time with baby then say Purvi is selfish. Why she not job? Why she destroy others money.😕

Really no one find any wrong ovi but all are find fault Purvi. The way people treat Purvi then Purvi is most sinner in the whole globe & others are saint. ovi is devi mata. Joy Mata ovi.

Purvi is the luckiest character of this show :D Everyone talks about her! :D. I think already Purvi surpass Archana character. The way all are talks Purvi then Purvi is main lead character this show not Archana. I am really happy that I am die hard fan of Purvi. I feel proud an Purvi fan.

Come on she is not 2 year old that ovi forced her. She made her own choice but she couldn't keep herself away from Arjun she had to ruin ovi's life. If anyone deserves hate then its purvi and Arjun

Absolutely perfect answer. If everyone else on the show can be forgiven for being human and do not need excuses, why should Purvi be the exception? To err is human and so she is entitled to her mistakes just like the rest of the miserable D lot.

ovi was wrong and she accepted and got her punishment for it as well

the problem in my opinion is the rest are doing wrong continously in the farce of bhalai

and arjun i bet is totally clueless - he did no wrong and tried for his marriage to work with a stubborn girl who made a deal for him.
