Thank you so much for the humour, it was badly needed to day.

I am not surprised by today's turn of events at all.

I expected the same reaction from the family towards Purvi and Onir.

I knew that Onir's pretend truth, would make Purvi accepted and loved again, and no one will remember all the bad things she has done.

I knew Onir would be burnt at the stake.

I knew Arjun would slap Onir, even though it is not his place.

I have been prepared for all of this for a long time now.

I am really tired of the show, and thank God I only watch it sometimes now. However, I come on KC and hang with you guys.

Result: Savita understood how it feels to be mother of a girl who is mistreated by inlaws and started warming upto Archu.

And so on. There are many examples.

Today there was no dialogue of Onir or Shalini saying to Arjun, "What are you lecturing me about? Tumne khud bhi to wohi kia hai to jo maine kiya! Did you feel bad for Ovi even a bit for having betrayed her and hurt her all the time? Then why should I feel bad? Frankly there is no big difference between you and me so keep your lectures to yourself!"

And I really don't expect anyone to say to Purvi tomorrow- "Now you know how it feels Purvi."

I am most sad about Savita and Manav's reaction. Soham, who truly suffered for no mistakes of his own, is being punished by the lot, even when he is trying to improve. They boycott Soham like anything and do not defend him even when outsiders like Dr. Gauri call him jaahil and gaanwar. (How I dislike her!!!) But Purvi ko to saat khoon maaf hain!! She ruined everyone's lives, has yet to apologise or accept her mistake and yet Manav and Savita seem genuinely worried about her and want to bring her back.

Excellent Post👏 You are correct about everything, especially about old PR, I have even seen Sulo scold Archana about giving Soham to Varsha. Varsha was scolded. Everyone at least at one point was shown they were wrong. PR2 no example was shown.

Arjun was brave , he went and give one strong mukka to Onir ...Ok, but his real test of how brave he is when tomorrow Purvi will order him to forget about the divorce and make it work with Ovi again...now if he turns around and tells her ' I love you, I will always support you but if you order me one more time about my life with Ovi then I will give you the same punch I gave your fake hubby yesterday and I will not even care that you are a girl because I have had it enough with girls , specially the ones with Deshmukh as their sirname ' ...that is when I will call him brave ...today I will not .

questions i had

Why none of the Deshmukhs flatly refused to go out and look for Purvi saying its none of our business ...especially Sachu , Teju and Manav

who does Archana think she is , waking up from her coma and despatching all to do errands of finding and welcoming Purvi who destoyed their home

does she know what ugly deeds her daughter did after she went in coma

the blackening of Archana's face with the pre marital sex one day before the wedding is the LEAST of her inumerable deeds

she DESTROYED Ovi

she took away her dead child

she swapped babies

she constantly controlled Ovi's husband

even prostitutes r better than this , they r honest women

This agitation she did not show for Ovi who truly suffered , why for Purvi who inflicted the suffering

why r Sachu and Teju following Archana's orders

its hi time someone says bluntly NO to Archana

sorry , we won't go to look for Purvi

if u want go urself

she has wrecked our sister

our home

what big karma has she done that u r weeping hoo hoo hoo for her...an unwed pregnancy and on top of that carelessly marrying a bigamist without making proper enquiries

did she tell u or ask u before marrying

so why don't u give her same advice u gave to Ovi

Purvi , Archana and Arjun r a shameless trio who need to be slapped

i hope Shalini slaps Arjun publicly and tells all how he hired a private detective on ex's husband instead of bothering about his own marraige .

Thank you Kools for your commentary or else I don't know how it will be possible to digest this show.

I read the WU and I am not even bothering with the show. As a matter of fact, I won't ever be watching this show again unless Ovi gets justice. I am so done. I don't even want to comment about these characters.

I will visit the thread cause this thread is the ONLY good thing about this show.

Masti excellent post and Homie great answers...Especially the last para..You took words out of my mouth...

Archana showed her reality to her children when she took Manav to court while pregnant, nothing good could come after that. Those babies where doomed from the start. Ovi got the brunt of it because she dared to challenge Golden Girl Purvi and make a deal. Archana never liked that, because like Sulo she wanted rich boy for her poor daughter. Remember Archana sees Purvi in herself, she cannot relate to Ovi, because Ovi is a rich kid, with different experiences, and Archana judges the rich.

Archu saw herself in Purvi..She could relate to Purvi = poverty, Ovi = rich which she has always been against..

My assessment after watching today's episode on ArMan, and Archana's reactions-actions..

Archu finally got her revenge on Manav for letting him take & walk away with the twins 19 yrs ago..Not only she replaced her kids with the sadak se uthaai huvi ladki, also when they reunited she took control of Manav's emotions to even greater depth-length what ever you call..She knows he needs her more for the rangeeli raaten than she needs him...Though we know her No and dislikes abt richness-money is only fake...Dil maangey more money with YES inside to take care of her family (mayka and now Purvi)

We are not seeing "Purvi purvi" only...We have seen "Archu Archu" even b4...Both mother daughter duo are destructive, panauti to any man & family they marry to & into..

Trinity are the worst type of mothers I have seen...Sulo did same by archu being her fav and Varsha was kind a sauteli

Archu's fav child Purvi and not her own bio kids...Wait till Soham is all welcomed in the family project is over..She will flip one more time..

Disgusting, disgusting and more disgusting show..😡

Kools Agree with everything you said.

However, I had resigned myself to see this day.

Purvi is a Vamp and Vamps always have control.

Archana is not even a Mother. If she can't be a biased Mother then she is nothing.

There are Mothers like her in real life I have seen it with friends, where their Mother side with one sister over the other. It is really sad

The Fathers are just like Manav too, they go with what makes wifey happy.

Archana does not disappoint me anymore, I stopped thinking much about her decision making abilities a long time ago.

To all those who didnt watch the show today,am glad for you. Ankita must be either laughing or crying at the storyline and the characters including her own, how the show started which used to make me smile everytime the leads wud pass each other in train or road.. The magic! And at present wht i c is filth

All I can say is that after reading your hilarious take on today's PR, I just might watch it, and that, Kools, is a real compliment to your latest KC. These days, I cannot even stand watching your potato face and his inamorata. Even without that dismaying montage (that Ankita undoubtedly had removed pronto!), they are tough to look at and to digest.

The other one who has let me down badly is Onir. His goody two shoes act makes me want to kick him all the way from Mumbai to Kolkatta. A smooth villain would have been a delight to watch, but this lily livered display makes me sick.

Incidentally, folks. Jodha Akbar promises to be a worthy successor to EK's Mahabharata. After a disclaimer that makes it clear - obviously to avoid rotten eggs being thrown at BT offices by the Rajputs and the admirers of Akbar alike - that the show has nothing to do with history,the opening episode makes the truth of this assertion amply clear.

The scriptwriter seems to be confusing the young Jalal with either Mahmud of Ghazni or Mohammed Ghori., given to ransacking temples for the jewellery and abducting any female within reach. And he obviously thinks that no battle scene can be complete without landmines blowing up all round, though no such stuff was around in the mid-16th century. Plus he seems to be outraged that enemy soldiers are killed on the battlefield.

And Jodha, the daughter of a Rajput king, and a woman who goes on doing an aarti of Ma Kaali in her full gory aspect till it made me dizzy to watch her thali go round and round and round, is shown preaching against violence, and is described as the repository of prem and shanti (I am not sure of this last).

DK as Bairam Khan is not bad, nor is Jalal, but Jodha is a washout and looks like his elder sister.As for her acting, the less said the better.

I do not think I will last with this beyond this first week. As for Ekta, if the Emperor Akbar ever rose from his tomb, he would sever her head with one fell sweep of his shamsheer. And for good reason too!

I shall recover from this appalling production by going back to the DVD of Ashutosh Gowarikar's Jodhaa Akbar.
