ARK... well he is sounding very casual wanted to cricketer earlier but was so weak in studies that he had to leave his cricket coaching to attend 7 tutions daily.. he says he was not that interested in this medium as his bros.. but he took opp. that came his way... so he sounds very casual he says hes very lazy...

now to raj... well what excerpt bonne gave us. from filmfare... we can see smthng of that here too... one thng i became sure ... looks like he had thot kpc would ride on his shoulders(n why not he was a critically acclaimed actor) but sushants popularity was unexpected for him...

he says similar things middle class fam. couldnt afford to wait for 10 yrs for a grand launch. i would rather hv experience of working with bannerji n kashyap instead...

earlier he dreamt of becming a bollystar , now his focus is not on popu but what he can contribute thru his work... he learnt to appreciate nuances of the craft after FTI n now post kpc

he is acutely conscious that there r greater actors in the world...

Ya you maybe right...Rajkumar may have thought that kpc will ride on his shoulders and why not,afterall he has always been a critically acclaimed actor and is not a newcomer...during all the interviews,he seemed pretty confident of himself and his work...even during promotions/interviews,his( and not Sushant's ) acting skills were being praised...Gattu was like Raju is a fab actor,he has given Govind's character a new dimension that I had never thought of...and all about how powerful an actor Raju was...so naturally,once the film was released,he was shocked that it was Sushant and not he who stole the show...that the audience was showering their love on Sushant/Ishaan...that kpc is being called Sushant's debut movie...that it is Sushant,a newcomer,who has become a star post kpc...maybe Rajkumar wasn't expecting this and all this didn't go down well with him...well I maybe wrong but his interviews are a clear indication of that...

And regarding his idol being Daniel Day Lewis,well this is quite funny and shocking! Have never heard him mention Daniel Day Lewis in any of his previous interviews!
Oh well,seems like too many people are getting inspired from Sushant's views and thoughts! 😉

To be honest,I've always felt that Rajkumar is way too confident of himmself...I'm not saying it's bad to be confident of yourself but he just seems a little overconfident to me...He is a fab fab actor,no doubt about that but he is not at all humble about it like Sushant...I feel he thinks too highly of himself...not that I have anything against him,but this is just an observation.
