You said it right :) Ovi is stupid if she never thought that Arjun and Purvi could have taken it to the next step in their relationship. Also, it is not Purvi's responsibility to disclose that the goods were faulty, it is "buyer beware" and Ovi made it clear she was buying the goods "as is" so her fault she didn't check or weigh the pros and cons of acquiring a previously owned commodity.
