Highlights ..

* Archana and her friends are saved from some Gundas by Manav in the local train .Both Manav and Archana still have not seen each other's face .

*Sulochna is extremely worried about the upcoming expenses ...she wants to give good presents at Ajit's wedding .

* Archana goes to a shopping mall to buy a saree for Manju ( as her mother told her to ) .Her friends tell her to go and try a saree on herself so Archu goes in the changing room.

* Manav also comes to the same mall with his friend Tarun .He too goes to try a shirt in the changing room but sees a girl ( only her feet ) in the changing room and goes away from there after knocking at the door accidentaly ...

*Manav's friend Tarun sees Archana and he tells Manav to have a look at that beautiful girl ( Archana ) standing outside the mall but Manav doesn't and he tells Tarun that he is not interested in any girl and will quietly marry whoever his mother choses for him ...

* At the same time Archana is also telling her friends that she wil lmarry whoever her Aie choses for her ...

Very cute show today ...

the last scene was the best .The way both are unaware of each other and their destiny is trying to bring them together ..Kind of reminded me of ' Dil to pagal hai ' ...

Both Manav and Archana looked gorgeous though I wish that their dubbing was not done by someone else ...

Tanya thanks for going down the memory lane for most...I am watching these initial episodes for the first time..

One thing for sure how hypocritical and selfish Sulo is...Her preference for Archana and always using Varsha for her money...All the siblings using Archana and She never saying anything due to Sulo..

Sulo has done the damage to archu...Archu never corrected her aai when she was wrong..Even Mano was right abt the demands SUlo is having...SUch a money greedy woman she is

Though I enjoyed Satish's entry...Man I miss him...Such a good looker and would have been a better husband for Archana.

Proves the way she has used Archana and Manav's money for her own pleasures..😡

Thanks for the nice episode , Tanya. All the characters were somewhat real!

I can understand why Sulochana wants a good match for Archana in terms of salary etc. After all, Archana did give up on her future so that the house runs. Sad that she never went back to studies but perhaps, the family got so used to her at home and somewhere they knew that they will be inconvenienced if she did.

Archana is Sulochana's weakest child , for which Sulo is responsible in a way and this is the way she is hoping to make up. But reality is different . And she is facing it. Even today, the mindset which equates the housewife to a glorified maid exists in middle-class society though not expressed openly. It is mostly upto the husband then, how HE treats her and respects her, that give her the status.

Because Archana does not earn, it does not make her any lesser than Varsha or Manju. It is also her lack of exposure which gives HER a mindset which makes her implicitly trust her mother and lack in self confidence. This is how her character is! But she should at least know how to defend herself, which she does not. The way she was portrayed, she even wanted to get married because her mother wants her to. Not for herself.

As long as Sulochana does not lie about her eighth-pass status, Im ok with her aspirations which alas cannot be met easily. But then, she almost got Satish!

These characters are as real as possible in a TV serial . And that is why PR was different and interesting in the beginning.
