Yash Raj Films have released the first teaser of their next venture, 'Shuddh Desi Romance' online starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra

Few days back, YRF has unveiled the first poster of 'Shuddh Desi Romance' which is more like a portrait. The title seems quite catchy and the film is about a fresh and very real love story and hovers among love, attraction and commitment.

The movie is directed by Maneesh Sharma and is produced by Aditya Chopra.

The movie introduces another lead actress Vaani Kapoor. This will be a debut movie for Vaani. Rishi Kapoor will also be seen in the movie. Jaideep Sahni has written the story of the movie. The movie is a romantic comedy. The movie will be released on 13thSeptember 2013.

The poster is a collage of different hand painted images. The images of all the three lead actors are also hand painted. The different images range from a king and his queen painting to the images of a computer.

A statement from Yash Raj Films, reads, ""fresh and very real love story about the hair-raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment." "Finally, a romantic comedy that tells it like it is," the statement added.

Sushant Rajput started his career from Television and he rose to fame after he acted in Balaji Telefilm's "Pavitra Rishta" where he played the lead role. He made his debut into movies with "Kai Po Che" which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "3 Mistakes of my Life". His role was applauded a lot. This movie is going to be the second movie for this 27 years old actor who dropped out in 3rd year from Delhi College of Engineering and came to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in Bollywood.

Parineeti made her debut with "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl" which was released in 2011. For her movie "Ishaqzaade" she won National Film Award-Special Mention at the 60th National Film Awards. The actress has many movies in her kitty.

Vaani Kapoor is going to debut in Bollywood through this movie. A source tells, "In the screen-test with Sushant, Vaani took Maneesh by surprise with a striking-show of a crackling chemistry with the film's hero. Maneesh saw the same chemistry between them that he had seen between Anushka and Ranveer in 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. Although Vaani and Sushant had never met".

Maneesh Sharma is known for directing movies like "Band Bajaa Baaraat" and "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl". This is going to be his third movie as an independent director.
