It was the sizzling chemistry of the lead couple of Manav and Archana' played by Sushant Singh Rajput and girlfriend Ankita Lokhandewhich took Pavitra Rishta to insurmountable heights of success.

But the show started losing its grip slowly and gradually after Sushant quit it for greener pastures. While it's still raking in decent TRPs, the viewers simply can't stop wishing to see their original Manav and Archana return to the show. And what deepened the dent is the fact that Ankita too took a break.

Sources close to the actress said that she doesn't want to play a grandmother at his stage of her career and has decided to bid adieu to the show. While the channel and the production house started auditioning her replacement, they harboured the desire of bringing her back on the show as Archana.

According to sources, Gautami Kapoor --- actor Ram Kapoor's wife --- was almost finalised to play the new Archana. However, there is a new development on that front. If all goes well, Ankita might return to play the role. Informs a source associated with the show, "The production house always wanted Ankita to return to the show and play Archana. The actress, who wasn't too keen on playing a grandmother has told the production house that she doesn't mind returning if the track will focus on her. Chances are high that she might make her way back onPavitra Rishta."😃😃

Don't come back Ankita .I don't have that much of problem if you play an older woman because I have seen many actors play a character from a young age to old ...but my main problem is the show itself .

The writers are terrible and that show is just aweful with way too many characters .

Even Ankita's coming back will not save this sinking ship. It will be better if Ankita looks for some other show ..This show has been spoiled beyond repair ...

All this drama actually put Anki in wrong lite and moreover if she returns she play gm and not many actors on tv who played gm have got good opportunities barring few

For me it does not puts her in a bad light ...Why bad light ? She will only be coming back to the show which she always played but I definitely will be annoyed with her that she is coming back to this show as I find this show absolutely horrible ...

I think if it is true that she is coming back then there must be something else also to it ..Maybe another project with Ekta Kapoor ...what a shame ...

Ankita should have tried a little more to find something better ...

For me putting someone in a bad light is if they do some cheap reality show where they behave in a very undignified manner ...like some other TV stars I have seen ...

I hope Ankita never does that .

it does di the image gets ruined it is like crying wolf but it is even possible BT spreading rumors 😕 And di u think if she does reality show tat will be much better tan tis coming back believe or not ppl will stop taking her seriously tat is what bad light is and if she does tis show for say 1 more year as ek and zee wont end it shown her career will be finished

Nooo Anki don't return in this comedy circus. Why will you play a granny? You'll get many good offers. This show doesn't deserve u.
