The reasons given for defending Arjun's atrocious action of hiring a private detective to find out about Onir's private life is that of course he has the right , he has a child by Purvi , its all for the child's safety , he is ENTITLED to it , for all you know Onir may be a criminal ! His child's safety is at stake !😆😆
He CANNOT do that . Legally or otherwise . He can be SUED . He is doing this on the basis of ONE conversation he overheard and one member has rightly pointed out that for all he knows Onir have might been planning a surpise for his wife and did not want her to be suspicious .
If Onir had ONE suspicous coversation , Arjun and Purvi had MANY conversations in which it was discussed how it was essential to hide facts from Ovi the wife .
The fact that his baby is growing up with the couple does not give him a permanent authority to keep Onir on his radar and snoop in his private life . Just as knowing her baby was dead was Ovi's civic right , Onir's private life is his civic right . Absolutely no one can violate privacy , Arjun can be sued and Onir can walk away a very rich man .
The crime Arjun is doing is invasion of privacy .
The crime Purvi propogated was baby swapping without the mother's consent , both are legal crimes .
If his excuse is gonna be that his baby is growing up with them and he MUST know , he MUST know his legal limits too .
He could have asked Onir directly . If he found him still fishy , he could have phoned and told Purvi . He anyways phones her inspite of the restrictions . Purvi is an adult and if she felt the same as Arjun , that her baby was in precarious conditions , she could have simply left the man . She has done it before , when he refused to treat Ovi .
It was Arjun's decision to give the baby to Onir Purvi , Onir had never ever asked for his baby , nor had Purvi who was at that time full of other stuff happening in her life .
What would Arjun do if Onir Purvi moved to another city or if he got his license back and moved abroad , tired of the badnaami ? Seperated couples do that many many times .
This 'protect Purvi and my baby' is a big big hogwash . Purvi is an adult who needs no protection , she is capable of taking tough decisions herself and regarding the baby , there is a certain protocol to be observed . What Arjun is doing is rash , immature and subconsciously selfish as pointed out by his own dad .
