They've truly made a mess of the Purvi/Onir/Ovi/Arjun track, not liking it one bit! It makes no sense and just sheds them all in a bad light.

</div><div>Right now the saving grace for me is Ankita's return, really looking forward to how she deals with Manav's treatment of Soham now that he's out of jail and wants to be a part of her life.
From what I understood I think they meant you cannot say such things in an instigating manner. Like sarcastically call them amarpremis or the old it's incest or they're jeeja-sali etc. in a way that is mocking or purposely trying to instigate.
Otherwise I think it's okay to critiizie etc but just not in a mocking or instigating manner...that's how I interpreted it.

Btw guys, I have a question and Mods if you read this post, please enlighten us. I ask as I feel many will have a similar question. I saw a note in a close down thread that said that the word ''amar premis'' isn't acceptable. May I ask why? I have seen many many post saying ' "Arvi are soulmates", " Arvi forever", with a ❤️ . Now how are these sentences acceptable and Amar premis aren't. Isn't the hindi word for lover forever, soul mate translates to Amar premis??? I ask here for I want to know the true Hindi word and because that other thread got closed down. Can any member enlighten me, how is amar premis such an abusive word or using this particular word can hurt someone. Same with Jeeju and saali words ' these words aren't slang, and according to the storyline Arjun and Purvi are Jeeju Saali ' so how come using these words gets a warning? I am truly confused these days??
I think u hv misread the whole note ... r u talking about this post ?/ 😳

read it again carefully .. I mentioned clearly they r allowed as long as those words r used in proper discussion tone and not for mocking another grp 😊
I m quoting that part again for u guys from that above note given in the post
" words like Jeeja-saali or amar-premis or even psycho , lalloo , idiots , stupid , looser used in proper context and not just for instigation dont really come under name calling and we do allow it as part of discussion ...But when same words r used as one liners again and again in same post to instigate a fan grp , thats when warnings r put because such posts dont really criticise the characters but indirectly target fan grps or members 😊 "
plss read the note carefully before jumping to conclusion 😊
Thank you Mod Jyoti for taking the time to respond. The problem with what you say is how you determine this 'tone'. To date, there hasn't been any way to decide whether there is anger, sarcasm or disgust in a write up and to a large extend that can be subjective depending on the mood of the reader. Time and again, members complain that they aren't mocking, but are given warnings. Besides, every members have different writing styles, and isn't that interpretation depends on the minds of the reader? What happens if the Mods have undue prejudice against a member, as a result of which the member is repetitively banned? What if I say or construe that your very words to me "read it again carefully" is sarcastic? So, if this is the case, when a Mod is unduly biased against a member, who does a member go to seek justice? I do appreciate that your job is often unappreciated, and it is a tough job to fulfill too. But still as members, they do need some amount of safeguard and a way to seek justice, if they feel that they are denied justice by the Mods or are unfairly punished/banned.
Not all members here as a fan actor/actress. Many are here, as fan of the storyline and discuss the story from a moral standpoint. I was also wondering if there can be a thread where we can ask questions to the Mods. True, that for issues like these I can pm you. But it doesn't serve the greater IF community who might have the same questions, or might not even know, why there are warnings going out. For instance, I could never know that use of some words are now up for interpretation by Mods and members, who decide, by some magic the hidden tone of a post. So, a pm, only clarifies to one member, when to me an open thread, where members are allowed to ask questions to the Mods could be better and efficient way to deal with such issues. For, I am the last one to take up issues such as these on Kool's thread and have it closed down. But for members, who has their warning level raised...this is the single most important issue, for I am sure, members who end up getting warned hardly feels elated when they get a warning. I only seek some amount of understanding how the Mods operates and an open thread where members are allowed to question the Mods could be a welcome change...for not everyone understand what all these new interpretation of rules are and feel frustrated at the way random warning levels are given on the basis of some interpretation of 'implied' tone of a post...
