Missed you all and this forum...I had a couple of things going on at home...I hope you all had a lovely mother's day...I am not one yet, but had absolute experience of what it must feel like it...My 2 nephews and my niece, all 3 made the day so special for me...they made cards not just for their mom, but also for me...5 of us went out on an a mommies day lunch...it truly brought tears to my eyes to see my little nephews and niece treat me like a second mom...I already feel like a mother :) I checked some of the posts earlier but could not reply...hope you all had some amazing time with your babies that day! WOnderful card, Kalapi :) All you women, as hilly pointed, are so amazing and selfless, and I am sure you all are very special to all your loved ones outside of this forum! I love you all here on the KC gang :)
Coming to this absurd vile show, that refuses to give up on itself...and that WE refuse to give up on, the one and only PAVITRA RISHTA! I think it is time to add an "a" to the title based on the upcoming track...:P
I still don't understand this weird kinshuk woman and onir's so called secret? I mean, will it erase purvi-arjun's immorality by making him negative? Will it over-ride their shamelessness by showing Ovi not interested in taking this jerk back? the CV's sure have the most dumb ideas about making wrongs right...hahahahah...only dimwits would associate with this kind of abstract logic...
Purvi had hidden every aspect of her life from Onir...From her having a family, to her carrying her jeejaji's child...onir knew she was pregnant, but not whose child she was carrying...so yes, purvi hid ALL her kaands...she hid the kidnapper bit also until he found out...so she has had her fair share of lying and hiding...so now if onir even turns up with a former wife, i don't think it should shatter purvi;s world...after all the man did accept her without a word on her very rangeela past...with vinay, arjun, arjun's baby, and what not...so if onir turns out to be a player also, it does not over-ride purvi's very own negativity on the show too...I don;t understand how they can justify onir's past as negative, but purvi;s as some amar prem ki kahaani...LOL...like I said..logic is for dimwits on this show...
As for arjun...he looks like the most idiotic bum there ever could be...he wants ovi when purvi is busy in her marital life...but wants purvi as soon as she is available...lol...some urge to surge as varsha di puts it...i think arjun has no working brain cell left...the only thing working is some desire for physical fulfillment...i think he knows not about what love is nor marriage...it's all about lust...that's all I can gauge from his character...in that case...since he is such a lusty man with no moral code or a sense of commitment, he should be entitled to spend the rest of his life with shameless characterless and absolute pain in the butt purvi...they do make a sensible pair if you go to think of it...ovi and onir both have shown some semblance of decency, commitment to spouses...and a working IQ of higher than 90...so I think they can and deserve to do better...so on a personal level, I don't care about arjun-purvi re-union..except that I have stopped watching the show...my brain cannot handle so much vile in one show and that too wrongly touted as amar prem and sanskaari exes coming back together...lol...That, my friends is absolute bakwaas...Where the beautiful actual amar prem of the 70's ( rajesh khanna sharmila tagore movie), absolutely touching and yet not physical...and where these absolute sex hungry male leads and indecent manipulative female leads calling themselves amar premis...the generation has really changed and how...it's just sad.
I saw a glimpse of this new purvi part 2 because you all seemed to dislike her so much...and I simply cannot agree more...what an eye sore first of alll...to top that...what a highly dislikeable character...she is simply purvi part two..and like many others...I too wonder now what I ever liked in purvi when she was first introduced...this woman is as obnoxious...poor soham...if they had to give him such an eye-sore, atleast they should have given her a good character and pleasing personality...they gave arjun an obnoxious lead but atleast asha looks pretty...this woman is a downer on both counts...god bless soham on this show...he is now on the path to doom just like all the rest of the males...ekta kapoor gets some kind of high making men such lallus on the show...does she have some weird fantasies about dominatrix or what? She can really do with marrying a strong man who will show her what real good men are made of...
As far as discussion on kutumb is concerned, he did not rape gauri...just physically tried to assault her but then he had a total guilt calling later...I never approved of it but the change they showed him, the inner realization they showed pratham undergoing was heart touching and very real too...in this show, neither purvi or arjun are ever capable of such insight..which is what makes it so unreal to bother with...also hiten and gauri were top notch actors too...what a delight it was to watch those two and the show...it was one of the first balaji shows to NOT have multiple relationships and extra marital nonsense and unreal circumstances of vamps and what not..just a show that worked on the opposites together idea and the brilliant leads...
kools, congrats on the new thread! :) Fantastic commentary as always...Even if I stop watching this show, I will keep coming back to check your commentaries and the comments by the KC gang...defintely my laughter dose of the day! 🤗
P.S - going by jubilant mob on the forum for the apavitra re-union, I am all up for petition for ARVI dying in a car accident and off the screen of PR forever...( wishing death on characters is still ok right? ) let them be re-united and spend the rest of their amar kahaani in heaven/hell together...but it will be best if they do not torture our poor souls for this...if the petition worked for arvi lovers, can it not for us? :P
