Purvi and Ovi neglected pari equally. There was no need to single out purvi over Ovi.

Purvi is the biological mother of pari no matter what she will feel for pari if she hears anything bad happened to her,. If ovi felt bad and its not her daughter, then why not purvi - the one who nurtured pari and give birth to her.

In my opinion, there is no shame in feeling bad for YOUR child and reacting the way Purvi did.

A mother's love doesn't just go away b/c she give her baby up for adoption. If my child was kidnapped I'd be hysterical too. I would probably say mean things in my anger too.

As for Ovi neglecting Pari, how can you raise a child for several months and then all of a sudden not care at all for the wefare of that child?

I agree with you. Purvi's actions were justified today. I would have behave just like her or even worse if I found out my child was kidnapped. In ovi's case, I too wondered how she could have just mistreated pari just because she is purvi's child after nursing and caring for her for two mths.

pehlibaar and rayadallie, agree with you. Purvi is supposed to put a cork on her emotions too now just because she gave the baby away? She put a cork on her emotions where Arjun was concerned for Ovi's sake but this is her flesh and blood and she did expect Arjun to safeguard her baby, she has told that to him umpteen times even before he knew she was the mother of Pari.

Oh please don't compare Purvi with all the mothers who give their babies up for adoption. They do it for the baby's welfare not for their sister's and even if they do , there are legal processes and consent from the biological as well as adoptive parents.
Purvi is welcome to express her emotions as long as she remains in her boundaries.
She suddenly feels for her baby , "her" baby who she refused to take back because apparently Ovi is the mother of the baby
So why did she come to Ovi's house and start yelling
She is no one to Pari , she didn't take responsibility for her then when she was dying of hunger
And now she is accusing that person who loves the baby the most
It's Arjun who is sacrificing everything for this baby

I agree, people give their children up for adoption often for any number of reasons, but a mother is still a mother. Those feelings don't just go away. I don't like or dislike either Purvi or Ovi, I can sympathize with both of them. However, I do feel Ovi is a spoiled brat and always will be (and Manav doesn't help in reforming her) and Purvi needs grow a backbone and some guts and learn to say no sometimes.
