Onir is still looking at purvi's picture. He heard the door opening.he kept her photo inside his wallet and wiped his tears.

Dolly : onir , why are you sitting in the dark?( she switched on the light and saw onir sitting on the couch his eyes were red out of crying)

Onir: simply. Wanted to be alone for sometime. That's why ( he was cut short by her)

Dolly :but why did you switch of the lights? Wait a moment. Onir , just look at me .

Onir couldn't face her. He is on the verge of breaking down.

Dolly : ( she went near onir and touched his shoulders) are you ok?

Onir , unable to control himself hugged his best friend and cried his heart out. For so long, he wanted to have someone with whom he can share his pain and atlast he could able to find peace in his friend. Time passed by, but onir kept crying holding dolly.

Onir : I have lost her. I have lost her forever. I have lost everything. I have become a loser. I don't have anything or anyone with me now.why do I have to end up on the losing side. Why cant I live my life as I want.i have lost the two things that I loved the most. My profession and my love the one which was always mine and the other which was never mine.

Dolly couldn't do anything but wonder how onir has changed. The onir that she knew is just the opposite of the onir that she is seeing today.she didn't know how to console him but kept holding him tightly and indicating him that he is not alone anymore because his best buddy is by his side to support him at any cause and ready to face anything for his welfare. Now her main objective is to get her old onir back.

After a long time , onir felt at peace. He had broke his wall. Herein he doesn't want to hide his feelings within himself cause that had caused him intolerable pain. He felt like being protected by his mother. The thought of his mother brought him more pain. Today he is not going to control himself so he cried his heart out. After sometime onir realized what he is doing so he broke the hug. He didn't know how dolly would react . Dolly on the other hand was composed.

Dolly : come on onir , lets go and have our dinner. Im starving.

Onir : wait for me at the dining hall. Will reach there once I refresh.

Dolly : wait . let us have our food here. I will go down and ask the maids to to bring us the food here. You go and get refreshed and I will come back soon.

Onir : ok.

While eating, both were silent. Dolly broke the silence.

dolly : how is the food then?

Onir : good.

Dolly : onir can I ask you something if you don't mind?

Onir : only if you let me have my dinner first.

Dolly : done.

Onir :now you can ask your question

Dolly : don't take me wrong onir but I think that you should have consulted with your wife first before taking this decision.

Onir : she would never leave me to take this decision. I know that she cares for me a lot. But you cannot live as husband and wife pretending to be in love for a long time .she will do anything that I ask for because she thinks that she is indebted to me and by being with me and serving me she can return her favour back. I think I have forced her into this husband and wife relationship by using her pregnancy as trump card. I thought that she would love me eventually but It was my mistake and im trying to to solve my mistakes by leaving her because she deserves the person she loves. Im sure that she would be shattered right now but with the passage of time she will understand that I had done the right thing.

dolly : so what about you from now on? Are you going to move on from her,

onir : I have never moved on from her. I have just asked her to move forward from me . my love for her has not yet changed a bit but increasing with each day. I will never stop loving her and once if I do that I would be no more alive. Im surviving because of her memories. So forgetting her is way beyond impossible.

Dolly : do you have any twin brother.

Onir : no , but why?

Dolly : because I see someone looking exactly like you but im sure that he is not onir cause this guy is speaking like a romantic novel writer.

Both onir and dolly started to laugh

Onir : how come you haven't changed even a bit.

Dolly : how can you say that? You just met me after a longtime. You cannot judge me so soon.

Then they spoke about their collegemates for some time.

Dolly : ok onir, im feeling dam tired. Gotta sleep.see ya in the morning . good night.

Onir : good night

Dolly : by the way onir , you didn't tell me your wife's name or showed her photo. Even in the news they dint mentioned anyone's name involved in the case except your's.

Onir : I don't have her photo and her name is mishti.

Dolly : what!!!!!! Mishti oh god what kind of name is this??????

Onir : why???? It sounds way better than dolly.

Dolly : hello , don't make fun of my name. I hope you remember what happened to you last time when you made fun of my name.

Onir : I still have that scar in my right hand.

Dolly : do you want one on the left.

Onir : absolutely not. I thought you were going to sleep.

Dolly : ok ok im leaving. Good night once again. But be prepared, tomorrow im gonna torture you like hell.

Onir : why to wait for tomorrow as im already suffering now.

Dolly shut the door on onir's face. Onir went to sleep with a smile on his face which soon got replaced by sorrow.

Ovi came to to purvi's room along with pari. Purvi was looking at her photo taken with onir. Even soham and manav were also present there. Ovi didn't know how to divert purvi. she got an idea.

Ovi :purvi , could you please help me with pari's massage cause pari is crying from the morning. she might feel good after the massage.

Purvi : ok. Then bring some oil.

All were happy seeing purvi responding ovi.both were massaging pari. Suddenly , manav saw the anklets in pari's leg which were different from the one he gifted.

Manav: i think arjun didn't want pari to wear the anklets given by me.

Ovi: no papa. Its onir's.

All were shocked listening to ovi.

Manav : how do you know?

Ovi : because I was there along with him when he tied those around pari's legs.

Manav : but when?

When I and onir were at the park , onir told me that he wanted to meet pari so I took him to arjun's house.

Flash back

When onir and ovi entered kirloskar mansion , arjun and dk were not present and the servant was looking after pari. Ovi told the servant to leave them alone. Onir went near the baby and started to play with her. He smiled at pari who was playing with him seriously. He took a pair of anklets and tied it around pari's legs.

Onir : pari , do you know that these anklets are the blessings from your grandmother. Yes , my mother. Its a tradition in my family that all the girl baby get to wear these and It was also worn by your grandmother and great grandmothers so I want my daughter to wear this. You know what , when purvi was pregnant I was expecting the baby to be a girl. All those months , I dreamt of the moment where I get to tie it around your legs. I was extremely happy when you were born. I got to hold you first. I felt very proud as a father. The world may call you as arjun's daughter but for me im your father. Now this is the symbol that you are bestowed as onir dutt's daughter. They look beautiful on you. Please forgive your father for leaving you and your mom. Im doing this because you can have a wonderful future ahead. Wherever I go you and your mother will remain as my family. My blessings and good wishes will always be there for you. I had so many dreams for your future but im sorry that I couldn't be there for you in future. If possible please forgive your dad. This anklets will always remind you of me.

He bent down and kissed pari. He was crying profusely. He felt so unfortunate for not being able to claim his family. With that he left the house.

Ovi was shocked to see arjun standing in the room witnessing their conversation. He left the room. Ovi ran behind him. Manav and soham didn't know how to react. Soham was worried for onir. Manav wished for archana to be by his side to support him.

In the hall, arjun was pacing, he was totally worried about onir. In the past months onir has become a good friend of arjun. Arjun is really angry on onir for taking this hasty decision.

Ovi : arjun , I want to speak to you.

Arjun : ovi , let me tell you something first. I want to tell you to forget about uniting me and purvi. Its our personal matter and let us talk alone and come to a good solution.

Ovi : but arjun , you love purvi

Arjun : no ovi , you are mistaken. I loved purvi. It was my past and you are my present and future. cant you see my love for you? You did witness how hard I tried to make our marriage work. Is my love for you so weak that you were not able to recognize it.

Ovi: but arjun you tried to make our marriage work because it was forced on you, because purvi asked you. You did it for purvi. You couldn't forget her. I saw you struggling with your feelings. I couldn't see the love for me in your eyes which you had for purvi.

Arjun : I did it for us and for our future. I accept that in the beginning I found it so hard to forget purvi but after sometime I worked for the betterment of our relation. Why were you searching for the love which was a past thing . please try to see the love which I have for you. If I hadn't loved you then why was I begging for you to come back to me . I didn't reveal pari's truth cause I thought that I would destroy you.

Ovi : but arjun I destroyed your life by marrying you and im trying to fix it.

Arjun : then try to fix it by being with me throughout my life as a friend , lover and a wife.

Ovi : but arjun what about purvi?

Arjun : do you think that purvi would accept this stupid idea of yours. If I see onir first , I would beat him up for taking this horrendous decision. What does he think of himself. Is he trying to beat purvi in sacrificing competition. To add up to their contenders list he has added you. What do you guys think about yourself. Accept it or not but this is the fact that we are married and will remain married forever.

Ovi: have you moved on from purvi?

Arjun : yes I have. As for now she is my good friend and my wife's sister. What about you? Are you coming back home or still I have to wait for you?

Ovi : I can decide only after's purvi's decision.

With that arjun left the house.

Manav was listening to both ovi and arjun. He thought what purvi has to say about this.

On the other hand purvi was looking at pari's anklets and she remembered the incident.

Purvi was coming back to her room after finishing her chores and she was surprised to see onir standing near the cupboard and looking at something and smiling.

Purvi : onir, what happened ? what are you looking at ?

Onir : ( keeping the thing inside the cupboard) nothing. (rummaging through the clothes) I was searching my blue kurta.

Purvi with a teasing smile came near onir and pointed at the kurta that onir is wearing.

Onir on being caught managed the situation saying that he was searching for his white kurta.

Purvi : then what is this ? ( she went and took the box from the cupboard)

Onir: ( scratching his head) nothing

Purvi: ( making a puppy dog face) if you don't wanna show me then its ok.

Saying that she turned around and started to walk

Onir : purvi , wait!!!

Purvi smiled as she succeeded in her plan but kept a straight face and turned to onir.

Onir : here , open this box.

Purvi : awww'''' these are so cute ( taking the anklets out)

Onir : its my mother's.

Purvi : then why did you hide these from me ?

Onir : cause I want to show you when the right time arrives.

Purvi : these are really cute.

Onir : I know

Purvi : even you look cute when you try to lie.

Both started to smile at each other.

Flash back ends.

A smile crept on purvi's face.

She bent down and kissed pari's legs. Today she understood what onir meant on that day.

Someone was knocking at dolly's door

Dolly : come in.

Looks like someone is late for the office today. ( a girl entered)

Dolly : divya , please don't disturb me . Please cover up for me today.

Divya : you are the boss so you can take leave whenever you want. Raju bhaiya told me that we have a guest. Who have come ?

Dolly : onir.

Divya : what ?????!!!!!!! did you just say onir.

Dolly : yes , you heard it right . it's a long story. I will explain you everything later. Please let me sleep now.

Divya dragged dolly from the bed.

Dolly : divya !!!!!!!!! are you insane????????????

Divya : save that question for you. Now I need to know what happened in these these days in my absence.

Dolly told divya everything. Divya listened to everything with a straight face.

Divya : what you are going to do now?

Dolly : what do you mean by that?

Divya : you know what I mean . you now know that he is married . all these years you were leading your life in his memories. You never tried to move on from him. All these years you lived in a drean world dreaming about him so that you forgot to see the real world around you. Today, you have brought him again your life. What do you think that I ll make out of this.

Dolly : all these years I have been living in my dream world because I knew that he can never be mine in real life. Even in future I cannot claim my love. But I can always be his best buddy and that's enough for me. Today he is in grave trouble and lost. He have lost everything in his life. I will be by his side and will support him as a true friend and that's what true friend does and I need not tell you what a true friend really means cause you were there for me during my misfortunes. I want to be tat kind of a friend to him.

Divya : and what about you dolly. Are you going to lead your life like this? I want my friend to be taken care by someone who really loves her. I want her to have a family of her own. Don't I have the rights to set things right in your life? Have I become a stranger to you now?

Dolly : why are you saying like this ( with tears in her eyes) you are there na to love me and to take care of me. You are my family. If you ever speak like this again I will give a tight slap.

Divya : and I will give you a tight hug.

Both hugged each other and smiled through their tears.
