As for Purvi wearing transparent saris, Ovi and Punni have worn FAR more daring, revealing blouses and dresses, so attracting men has nothing to do with that!

Purvi wears saris in Bengali style nowadays, so calling her dress sense ugly means insulting Bengali culture. Now as a Bengali I can also insult sari styles of other regions but I wont stoop so low!

I dont know why some people are so against adoptive kids. It takes an open mind and open heart to adopt and love a little kid as your own! I guess most people's way of thinking is like Manju!

It takes a lot of inner strength I agree. But given how dumb Ovi was when Purvi accepted her deal..
She could easily use her intelligence and Arjun could too.
Conning Ovi would not be difficult.

I have nothing against her outfits, her saris are ugly not the style she is wearing it in.
Plus, I am bengali too and I never saw anyone wearing saris like that.

I agree Purvi has made mistakes but I don't think it has anything to do with her adoption.
She just goes overboard in doing good.
I dont' care what her intention is. But she never thinks of the outcome/consequence of her action.
She only thinks of the short term consequence.

That style of wearing saris is called "Gharoa" style, it was worn by our grandmas and great grandmas. Even my mom's generation didnt wear it that way.
But its the traditional way of wearing saris in Bengal and women often wear it that way on Puja days and for weddings. Bengali bride also wears sari in that style. Like many old traditions, gharoa style saris are coming back in vogue but modern generation girls certainly dont wear it everyday like Purvi does.

Purvi's mistakes have everything to do with her being adopted. Shes always looking for acceptance and love from her adoptive family thats why she makes these "stupid" sacrifices which ultimately cause more damage than good!
