Aunty,
I believe the scene has not been telecasted yet. it will be in a couple of episodes. and aunty, everyone was saying ovi is the culprit for ruining this ram sita couple
So now why is she being begged to for giving pari a mothers love? i am sorry for the inconsistencies in writing but i am using my blackberry to write.
Arjun should be happy he finally has ovi off his back. why is he wanting ovi back? aunty arjun would never ask ovi to come back if pari wasnt involved.
I cant sympathize with arjun least bit. he failed as a husband.
Aunty many people get married to people who they dont love but they stay in that marriage , simply because marriage is a life long commitment. arjun could walk out but he didnt in fact he put her through all this
The way he looks at purvi . its always been about purvi
Ovi was always secondary though it was ovi he married

Dear Waneeka,

You are all arguing on the basis of false data courtesy SBS.
This only goes to show how untrustworthy the SBS is.

In today's telecast, Arjun says NONE of these awful things you are listing out to Ovi.He does say that Pari needs her and that the fault is his and not Pari's, but he says that he needs her too, and adds that if she likes all three of them could go away to Canada. He assures her that the fault he committed with Purvi was before the marriage with Ovi, and that since then he has never been disloyal to her and that now there is nothing between him and Purvi.

Now the veracity of the last statement is open to question, but facts are facts, and this is what he said. He
was trying very hard to woo Ovi and get her back. He was doing a fair job of it, and she appeared to be softening when he said they could go back to Canada if she liked, though there too, he made the mistake of saying first that Pari needed her before adding that he needed her.

But unfortunately for Arjun, at that point, the baby began to cry loudly, the spell was broken, and Ovi was reminded of all her grievances vis a vis Purvi and thus, at one remove, vis a vis Pari. Then came the lines in the precap of yesterday.

Just wanted to set the record straight, whatever I feel about my old favourite Arjun now.

All your arguments taken.
Arjun and purvi have always been shown as the golden hearted people.

So are you trying to say , suppose, a man was sexually abused in his childhood. is it okay for him to sexually abuse other children as he grew up? no right?

Ovi has been selfish but she never asked arjun to look after her illegitimate child who is a constant reminder of purvi.

Thats even worse than being selfish.

Ovi was selfish because she loved arjun.
Arjun is selfish because he loves his off spring who is the pyaar ki nishani of his beloved purvi

muje to gussa ovi pe aa raha hai. agar who such mein maa banana chahti thi to who ban shakati thi. kal tak use archu ne purvi ko god li hui beti thi iss baat se aitraaz tha, baad mein purvi ne bachhe ko doodh kyun pila us baat ka rona tha, uske baad ab jab yeh jana ki pari uski nahi purvi ki beti hai to ab wapas purvi se lad rahi hai. ovi ko sirf ladna hi aata hai aur kuchh nahin aata. usne yeh kyun nahi socha ki uska bachha mar gaya tha par woh arjun ke accident ke karan mara tha. aur us waqt purvi ne kud ke ahesaas ko maar kar apna bachcha use soupa tha. hakikat mein ovi ko yeh dukh nahi hai ki uska bachcha mar gaya hai use dukh yeh hai ki pari purvi aur arjun ki beti hai. jis arjun ko usne purvi se chin liya tha ab usiki beti ke haath khud ki haar ho rahi hai. iss baat ka rona hai.

I dont see why a wife would not be aggrevated to find out about her husband having a baby from his past relationship.
Isnt she justified to be angry at purvi for not letting her see her dead child, not mourn the death of that baby?
Why wouldnt a mother be angry if she learns someone else os breastfeeding her baby?
Ovi has not always been the best person to purvi
But can you imagine what its like to lose everything that mattered?
Ovi loved arjun all her life
Arjun promised to marry her and went to india , claims to fall in love with someone else
Her baby died
You really think a woman should embracE her husband's illegitimate child ?
Why?

Dear Waneeka

No, my dear, while I agree with your post, I do not trust the SBS segment you have watched, which probably showed some alternative track that they have discarded now.

See today's telecast and you will understand what I am saying. They showed Arjun convinced that Ovi would never accept Pari, and getting set to raise her by himself. Where then would the lines they have shown you fit in?

Secondly, if Ovi were to leave her home, that would be the D house, whereas Arjun has taken Pari to the Kirloskar mansion. The Ds are very hostile to him, even Teju, and if he came back and tried any such stunt with Ovi, Manav would thrash him black and blue. It just does not make any sense.

I do not think Arjun will deviate from the track they showed today, the details of which I had summarised on this thread. Let us see. If Arjun really behaves as per this SBS segment, he would be beyond the pale, and would deserve to be tarred and feathered after being stuck in a pillory.

Manav is the only person I think is fair in this whole situation
We can't really blame him for not treating his adopted daughter same to his biological daughter
As a matter of fact , Purvi isn't manav's adopted daughter
She is archana's daughter

True. I agree with some of what you both said. I'm not saying he isn't being selfish at all. I'm mainly saying that Ovi had it coming. She knew what she was getting into. She was the one who kept doubting him. She should have left him after that one month. Of course that also means Arjun also knew what he was getting into! And he was mostly being honest with Ovi. He said he would try to forget Purvi but doesn't guarantee anything. He did try to give his marriage a fair chance. So now when he allegedly asks Ovi to stay behind for the sake of Pari, it makes sense as to why he would say that. He still doesn't harbor any true feelings for Ovi. Of course it's wrong of him to ask her. But let's also not forget that Ovi asked him to marry her and forget about Purvi which too was a selfish act.

In my opinion, they are all really really selfish. However, it seems like Arjun is the only one that didn't get anything. Ovi got Arjun just like she wanted even though Arjun does not love her but thats not something you can force and she knew that from the beginning and Purvi ended up getting Onir. Arjun ended up getting an Ovi who has expectations and whom he can't love with all his heart.

Agree but see if Ovi was selfish, she was. But then Arjun is not portrayed like that. Arjun has always been the one to be caring, respectful etc etc.
So him being so selfish , to ask his wife to stay back only to care for his illegitimate child is not right. I would prefer if he and Ovi end this sham of a marriage and get over it once and for all.
