If ARVI unite, I think Punni should be the lead. Ovi's story will have no masala, she will cry and whine and act demented and it will be like hitting the rewind button.
At least with Punni, her scheming brain will get her embroiled in impossible situations. All her plans go awry, even her own wedding plans got thwarted, it would be fun to watch her get bested at every turn, a dark comedy of errors, of course, with a happy ending.

agreed shruti is pretty ... but with Asha around ... it would be tough for her to overshadow Asha😉 with her looks, overall personality and great acting skills...

@bold: i think if u love someone there is no rule that even they should love u.. so even if purvi didnot entered arjun's life he was not in love with her and they might have got married but even that would be a loveless marriage..

but after knowing that arjun loved purvi and was about to marry her she entered into marriage with him that too by blackmailing purvi or making a deal with her.. so she got the suffering on her own.. no one forced her into she herself welcomed it knowingly.. so pls dont say that she suffered she literally reaped what she sowed..

and i do agree that is same with purvi she accepted the deal and left arjun and is suffering enough.. it may look like she is having a caring husband but even she is in a loveless marriage and can never love him the way she loved arjun.. neither she can be happy nor her husband can be who again entered the situation knowingly...

He promised to marry her yes.. But did Ovi allow him to get in a word edgewise. She was so self centered and she took Arjun for granted. I agree it is crushing when the person you love decides he loves someone else. It hurts... It is destroying. ... But I would not want to hold on to someone who does not love me. I could never hold him wondering if he wishes he was with the other person. And I speak from experience. Ovi is just a character in a show whose moods can be changed by the writer or the fans ;)

Of course Arjun supported Ovi. He was not a cad! He felt guilty about loving someone else that is why he could be manipulated ny Purvi. But love happens you know. And when it does it brings both happiness for ones who love and sadness for the one left out. But we go on with life don't we.

given how madly ovi was in love with arjun ,if they pretended to break up and if arjun said that i need time and conned against her i am pretty sure they could still achieve what they wanted

plus at the end of the day her sacrifice was futile

Er ...what do u mean did Ovi let him get a word in ? She taped his mouth or something ? When he declared he loved Purvi in the party did Ovi again tie or gag him ? She had given up that time , he rushed to her and said something ulta only , that he wanted a marraige with her !

May i know why ? Under hypnosis of Purvi or something ? Women had the strength to gag him ?

About taping Arjun's mouth -:). Have you all forgotten the many scenes when Arjun tried to speak? Anyway what are we arguing on about. Arjun Ovi Purvi etc are not real life people ... The are created by a person or persons and these persons are motivated by the magical TRPs and TRPs arise as a result of fans.

And so my friends if the show rises its because of us and if it dips it is also because of us and because the US has divided loyalties the TRPs fluctuate accordingly and when it fluctuates ... The poor writers start changing their stories and then they get into tangles and when they reach the point of messed up tangles they fold the show.

I rest my case and I'm now going to take a rest to clear my head of the tangled web I wove. ;))))))

I love her as a actress. But, I hate how before her character was shown as a brat. I too think Ovi and Onir should be leads. They both will sufer more when arvi reunites... where ekta is heading...
