I think finally Purvi-Onir story is building up! Good for them! Hopefully, femme fatale will give Onir the love she could not give anyone else but herself..But I do feel loving someone is a bit too far fetched for the lady. Controlling him is the right word that you all mentioned! Varsha di, Purvi gives me morning sickness so much that I don't watch her part unless necessary :P

not going to elaborate on Soham as I am so let down by his Archu aai jaap. He is just yet another convert of the Holy Trinity. Next we know, he is also thrashing Ovi and taking up for Purvi, without knowing what is the actual matter. Onir, Arjun move aside, you have new saathi in the K and D household - soham baba.

Kools, for your point on why they are showing Arjun so hung up is the eternal ARVI carrot. The way I see this is, Ovi in the show and in the viewer's minds is never forgiven for that deal and her prior tantrums because many people watch the show as black and white and PR is number one in showing the terrible Archu and Purvi as so tarnishingly white that anybody going against them ( Varsha, Savita, Ovi) are immediately reckoned as villains. So she is no favorite of the viewers, except for a few of us, who have never really thought of Holy Trinity as leads or white. So fulfilling her love story with hubby is out of the question. She apparently should suffer forever, as this forum and many other people would like to have it.

As for Onir, he is looked upon as some kind of messiah who came and turned Purvi the nautanki;s world a 360 degrees by saving her from the big bad world outside. He was a positive character and he was introduced as the kind of guy everyone likes and feels good about. What he did after being blind in love doesn't erase that initial positivity feeling he brought for the viewers. This is why, most people ( not ARVI fans) want Purvi and Onir to work out, cuz they mostly like Onir for being a good character on the show. Hence, despite having a guy like Onir, if Purvi does not move on, that won't go down well with a majority of the audience. so she is hesitantly, but positively shown to move forward with her do-gooder hubby.

Arjun on the other hand, will always be stuck in this rewind tape because having a wife like Ovi, he is not supposed to move on with her, as she is yet to pay for her sins ( I am saying this from viewpoint of others, and not mine). I am sure if Ovi tells him she leaves him free from this marriage, suddenly she will be absolved of all previous deeds. So Arjun has a bad deal on his hands, while Purvi got the good end of the stick. If they show Arjun-Ovi romance, or move forward lovingly, it will create a huge outcry from arvi fans, as we already saw what kind of dire stuff they threaten with ( petitions and hunger strikes). Zee cannot afford to have that kind of outrage even if it signifies their popularity. But they will alwyas try and keep all on that one string of hope for ARVI by showing Arjun like this hung up lover boy who cannot move on from Purvi, even though she is totally living it up, flirting and probably getting to deeper love with Onir.

such a ploy, and so dumb. But honestly, I want Ovi to simply walk out on this loser and never look back. She deserves much better, but the CV's will not do justice to her character this way. In fact, Purvi will have a loving family and Ovi will bear the loser pathetic hung up husband and a donated baby with bio mother always looming to threaten, all this for just making that one deal on the hilltop.

Onir thinks Purvi is great

Savita thinks she is great

now Soham thinks she is great

Varsha is ostracized for being low in character but Purvi is kept like a devi idol on the head as she is successful in hiding while foolish rebellious Varsha did her kaands openly

all evidence against Purvi is miraculouly lost ...blackmailer dies , Bregenza is super understanding and not Mittal's old flame , CD is destroyed ...she has God's ashirwaad on her for doing sins

Purvi takes all important decisions in Deshmukh house in Archana's absence ...not Savita , not 60 yr old Devdas Manav who only weeps at Archana's bedside or the twins , but Archana's sainted parvarish rules K house and D house both .

And what is the speciality of this parvarish

Do kaands . Do them . By all means , karo . But hide them well .
