Arjun and Purvi has two mistakes.

Arjun and purvi mistake was they are too weak to fight for their love.
Purvi weakness is she is too mahaan..and arjun was spineless to fight for his love.
he did whatever purvi told him to do...for their so-called love.
that was their first mistake.

their second mistake was they have sex before marriage.
but now i no longer blame them because sex before marriage is not wrong and not a sin in hindu. thanks to misscarlet and ashvikluverrr for telling me this.
all this time i thought they have commit a huge sin..but not anymore because now i know they have not since in hindu it was not a sin.

so they have only one mistake..that is the first mistake i mentioned above.

Hope this piece of information satifies ua curiosity :)
Sexual intercourse is a natural reproductive function, a part of the instinctive nature, and its pleasures draw man and woman together that a child may be conceived. It also serves through its intimacy to express and nurture love. It is love which endows sexual intercourse with its higher qualities, transforming it from an animal function to a human fulfillment. Intensely personal matters of sex as they affect the family or individual are not legislated, but left to the judgment of those involved, subject to community laws and customs. Hinduism neither condones nor condemns birth control, sterilization, masturbation, homosexuality, petting, polygamy or po*nography. It does not exclude or draw harsh conclusions against any part of human nature, though scripture prohibits adultery and forbids abortion except to save a mother's life. Advice in such matters should be sought from parents, elders and spiritual leaders. The only rigid rule is wisdom, guided by tradition and virtue. The Vedas beseech,"May all the divine powers together with the waters join our two hearts in one! May the Messenger, the Creator and holy Obedience unite us."Aum Namah Sivaya.

Premarital sex,
I won't give any religious explanation. Let me give u a simple explanation.
Would you like if your sister have premarital sex?
Would you like if your daughter have premarital sex?

Surely you won't.
So as a brother, sister, father or mother you don't want your girl to have premarital sex. So it itself becomes wrong when it is not being approved by the elder or relatives.
When you can't allow your daughter and sister to have premarital sex, how can you be eligible to have premarital sex with the daughters and sisters of others.
In this way, it is unethical in every religion for both male and female.

The person asked whether if pre martial sex is considered a sin in hinduism. What the society or a person believes is different according to different persons.

is sex before marriage a sin?
honestly..

Sipo, I have been debating for a while to write about it. Finally, let me put in what I think.
In Hinduism, I am not sure sex before marriage is a sin or not, but the concept of KAnyadaan - literally translate into ' giving away a virgin' is considered to be the greatest daan (gift) and by performing this gift, the parents achieves moksha. I think there are lines in puranas that talks how a parent can achieve a place in heaven, by performing this gift. So, I am assuming that virgins are something that is honoured. In fact, in our religion, we do kumari puja, again, praying to a virgin, who represent Devi. Also, note Hinduism never encouraged widow re-marriage, nor rape victims could marry in Hinduism. This is about Hindusim, as I understand.
Now, look at our 21st century India. Pre-marital sex is still a taboo. Even if it happens, couples involved in such acts are never open about it. Let look at the statistics, there isn't any significant stat. to show we have a population of unwed moms, right. So, why is that., Afterall, we do live in 21st century and India is pretty modern and progressive, right. Well, simply because, sex with marriage is pretty much against the norm that personifies India. Unwed pregnancies are never welcome and it brings shame to the family. There are countless novels that showed girls commiting suicide, because she was pregnant and the biy refused to marry her. So, society isn't open yet to the concept of free sex and unwed pregnancies...
Anyway, my POV...

Well well..i just ask a simple question and make a statement that sex before marriage is a sin..and you say i taunt anyone here?
What i said is base on religious fact..
is that wrong?
My religion teach me that sex before marriage is a sin.
But in hinduism it is not a sin..and i respect that.
I respect your faith and your religious view on that matter.

Why it takes you this hard to answer my simple question..just say it's not a sin.
No need to tell the different..etc etc.
