I see all the makings of an ARVI re-union on the way! New stupid twist of blackmail now!
I can understand Vinay being the blackmailer, even then, him asking money from a pregnant girl who does not work, makes no sense. If he wanted revenge, he should have asked Arjun for 3 lakhs to know some secret about Purvi. The lover-boy would have gladly given him 6, to know ANYTHING about her.
I don't understand why Onir would blackmail Purvi for money. Even if they want to show him negative, there are a hundred ways to do that. Why would he want money from Purvi? And why would he blackmail her to harass her? It makes no sense.
All the OTT love for Onir by the K's seems to point at a future negative role by doctor babu. God help this show, if they have no sense what so ever of how to push forward a story line. If they make Onir negative or Ovi dies, I will pretty much give up on all Ekta shows from there on. And who knows, maybe I will start a petition too :P
What I find hilarious is, Sulo's proclamation of her 3 betas today. Vinod, Manav and now Onir. Ermmm..what about Arjun? The one guy she was falling all over when he was engaged to Purvi? All beta-beta nonsense she had done with him too. He had practically saved her from dying once. But now, that he is Ovi's husband, Sulo has no regard for him? Sulo ONLY cares about one naatin and that is asanskaari Purvi. What about her granny love for Teju, Ovi or Sachin and Soham?
This is exactly why Archana, Purvi and Sulo are the most unrealistic trip of unbeleivable characters ever! Arjun has suddenly gone from beta to not-favored at all, simply by marrying Ovi instead of Purvi? Purvi and whoever she marries means the world, but Ovi and her husband mean nothing no more? I get that Ovi has no real attachment to Sulo either, but then after 18 years of not knowing she even existed, Sulo has to take the upper hand in bridging that gap? As a granny, she has to obviously make amends and get to know naatin better? But when the mother has given up on her, what to expect from JPBP Sulo.
Savita, in this sense is way more real. Even when she was mad at Archana and behaving the villain, her natural anxiety for Purvi being kidnapped was obvious. She also now has accepted Purvi whole heartedly and looks out for her, just like she does for the rest of her grand kids. Even for soham, she is positive about reforming him. This lady is what a granny usually is! Sulo is quite the granny I wish no one has, who does clear favoritism over others!
The temple scene was sweet, but I don't understand why Arjun keeps asking for strength to make Ovi happy? Hasn't he seen that it takes very little to make this girl happy, unlike his lover-chic who asks for life-altering decisions in return for love? Ovi wants just a Purvi-free life and some love and attention from Arjun. THAT IS ALL she asks. She is not asking for jewellery, bungalows, cars or even undivided time from his work. She is ready to help him at work, ready to be the housewife at home, and still he NEEDS strenght to cope with her needs? That man amuses me to no end! I wonder how he can't put two and two together when comparing Purvi to Ovi?
Ovi looks beautiful in these couple of episodes. I like her style much better than Purvi's sudden Bong character. Shruti Kanwar is also naturally beautiful. Some picture of Punni's shaadi was uploaded and Ovi looked resplendent in a black and red saree with a high updo and natural make-up. Arjun sure is a very lucky man to have a wife who is that pretty and so devoted to him. Only if he knew!
