Arjun has always played the sacrificial lamb, albeit voluntarily at the insistence of Purvi, and in the bargain he lost the love of his life, only to be saddled with the emotional empty vessel that is Ovi. I refrain from endowing her with any human qualities given her penchant for self-obsession.
I hope and pray when the truth about the paternity of the baby is revealed, Arjun is not forced to watch another man, even one as wonderful as Dr Onir (or so he seems) to raise his child as this would be unbearable.
I can only logically foresee two scenarios (though Ekta Maya can out think the best minds with her stupidity). Purvi, in keeping with her Mother Teresa role will give the baby to Ovi, who looks like she may lose hers and disappear with Onir. Alternatively Onir will walk away and unite Arjun and Purvi once he has despatched of Ovi, as he seems to be the only man with a spine in Pavitra Rishta to stand up to her tantrums.
