CHAPTER 5 : A Ride To remember

Recap :- "Bandar .. Come You want to stay in college only?" Purvi asked.

"Purvi what ..what are you doing here" Arjun asked shocked.

"I came here to call you saw you talking to the sky thought you went mad and have come to take you to the mental hospital ..Come let's get your treatment done" Purvi said in a sarcastic tone.

"Billi ..You know what I'll have company there cause ultimately you'll be admitted with me" Arjun said.

"If this is over can we please go home Aai must be worried" Purvi said.

"But I thought we were going to the mental hospital" Arjun smirked.

"LORD" Purvi said.

Arjun was enjoying this . It could be called his new found sadistic pleasure .

" If your 100 volts smile could find me a Rikshaw then it would be helpful , otherwise Bandar you're better-off hanging on the tree" Purvi gave her * you are so useless look*

It was already 7:15 damn she was late . The Rikshaws left with the students at 6:45 itself and it was really hard to find one in this area .

"Bandar ! Look now we'll have to wait for another half an hour for another Rikshaw . You know since you came Everything is going wrong ." Purvi yelled .

Meanwhile Arjun was mouthing Meow's when Purvi was yelling "I never asked you to wait , Your just stupid"

"And here I thought of helping you ,"Purvi looked at Arjun who was , NOT THERE !

"Bandar , Bandar !!! AR" Purvi saw Arjun was walking away .

"Here I waited for you and now you ditchme and go your way . YOU UNFAITHFUL...CRE ...CREATURE" Purvi said panting .

"Whaaa...I don't get this ! Get this clear okay I was getting bored with your *I'm so great*drama So I took a stroll . Missing me already haan ?" Arjun said winking ;)

"What's your name again , I don't miss non-existant creatures'' Purvi said with evident sarcasm in her voice .

"Auntyy!! Uncleee!! Yeh ladki paagal hai ..She's talking to herself" Arjun said announcing it to the people there .

If eyes could shoot bullets you bet Arjun would be dead by now . Purvi held Arjun's hair and they fought like kids . Meanwhile a Rikshaw passed and they both noticed but couldn't stop it as they were in a weird position .

"We missed it Bandar all because of you !!! My cell's out of charge and I presume you didn't bring your mobile cause your stupid . I don't even know the point of your existence you're like an insect that just stays to annoy people and die"

Arjun Didn't say anything he wasn't angry or whatever he lost the strength to retaliate or maybe this just a hurt him a bit a little bit maybe.

Purvi knew she was being mean but somewhere it hit her she didn't like to talk to anyone like that and to use the word *die* never she mustered up all theguts and literally crashed her ego seeing Arjun maybe she had hurt Arjun maybe a little too much . 'm sorry"she said in a voice that was louder than a murmur . Arjun heard it . But he didn't want to reply ..He moved hysterically to stop the auto from when it was at 25meter distance .Purvi couldn't help but laugh

"Dance accha kar lete ho , by the way this is the way you stop the auto" Purvi just put her hand out and the Auto stopped . Purvi gave her triumphant smirk .

Purvi went and sat in the Rikshaw but Arjun in his mounts of ego that he had didn't enter ."Get in Bandar , you won't find a taxi until 9 now" Purvi said . Arjun didn't respond . "Chaliye bhaiya aur koi nahi aa raha" Purvi signaled the Auto driver to go ahead . As it started to move Arjun stood still for a moment , she left him actually left him stranded on the road alone . He ran behind the Rikshaw , Purvi saw him running through one of the side mirrors this was getting fun she thought "Bhaiya , jaldi jaa kar wahan Medical shop ke nazdiig stop kar do , koi aura a raha hai"Purvi said .. the driver drove fast and stopped near the medical shop .Arjun was drowned in sweat ..Boy catching up with the Rikshaw was harder than running on his tredmill at 9km/hr . He finally caught up with the Rikshaw as soon as he was at a distance of 5m ...

"Bhaiya aage jaiye"Purvi said with a devilish smile .

But all the same she was Purvi so she finally allowed Bandar to get in .

"You Fool ! You made me run so much ..YOU could've forced me to get inside" Arjun said Panting .

"Billi's Arrr wait sorry Bandar aren't supposed to be loyal" Purvi said smiling . Arjun couldn't help but laugh . Finally one decent conversation without a fight . Meanwhile amidst all this the Auto driver was confused was this their destination , journey and what was all this Billi and Bandar .. Aaj kal ke bacche he thought .

"Chalna hai ki nahi" The Auto driver asked .

"Chaliye Bhaiya" Purvi said.

"Dekho it's already 9:15 Aai must've called the Police by now , Bandar she must've thought I got kidnapped .." A tensed expression her face

"Such an emotional story damn ! Just saying but if a kidnapper even thinks of kidnapping you , Good luck to him I swear he'll have to get ready for the worst days in his life" Arjun said laughing .

"Here I 'm late because of you and all you can do is sit and rag me ..What has the world come to I hate you, hate you , hate you ! Don't talk to me" Purvi said and is of on que it started raining .

Can this place get any more dramatic ? Arjun thought Purvi couldn't sit without talking and moreover today had been very tiring All because of that creature sitting next to her and the slow moving traffic and the jerks of the Rikshaw , everything just lulled her to sleep .

Her head was swaying from one side to another and to another . She would partially wake up each time the Rikshaw jerked her to another side . For the first time Arjun smiled at Purvi during the day she was indeed a Billi . To prevent the rain droplets falling on her face and her sleep getting destroyed he put her head on his shoulder after a lot of contemplation , he knew he was risking his lfe if Purvi woke up he could be assured he was walking back but he tried his luck anyway. The driver smiled at how cautious Arjun was being keeping her head on his shoulder as if it was the most delicate thing on the planet .

They were stuck in traffic and that to on a signal and as you know everyone was bombarding their rikshaw "Buy this imports maal" Arjun shushed all of them and signaled them to move ahead . He didn't want them to wake Purvi up , And then a really cute small little girl with a bunch of flowers came " Bhaiya Khareedlo , itne saare rang hai naa ek toh didi ko bhi accha lagega"And Purvi woke up and she was startled to find her on Arjun's shoulder she became distant "Dekho didi bhi uth gayi ..didi aapko kaunsa rang pasand hai" Purvi hesitated "Pink ..""

"Mujhe 5 pink flowers chahiye" Arjun said . The girl became ecstatic she quickly gave him 5 flowers and before leaving she said "Aap dono hamesha saath raho"

After a minute of awkward silence Purvi started "Are you trying to flirt with me " I was sleeping on your shoulder a few minutes ago you buy me Pink flowers listen Bandar I'm out of your league"

"Excuse me , First and foremost you were the one who fell on my shoulder you should be thankful that I didn't jerk it off and secondly these flowers aren't for you " Arjun stated and the auto driver just looked at him throught the mirror and gave him the *oh really?* look .

"Bandar you bought *PINK* flowers after I said I liked them okay and then you say you weren't trying to flirt oh really now ?"

"Stop over rating yourself , Thankfully na meri eyesight is perfect and even in my wildest dreams I wouldn't be flirting with you" Arjun said teasingly .

Purvi hit Arjun on his back " I hate you !!!!!!"

" I don't love you either" Arjun remarked .

"Hello ! sorry to disturb ji par aap yahin par utarne wale the naa ?" The driver interrupted .

Yes , they had reached infact they had reached five minutes ago only if they would notice it .

"Sorry uncle" Purvi and Arjun said in sync .

Uncle smiled "Aisa ho jata hai kabhi kabhi"

"Uncle paise kitne hue ?" Purvi asked

"120 Rupees" Uncle replied .

Arjun handed in the money . "Uncle use mat lena I'm giving lo" Purvi started .

"No uncle aap mujhse lo Mein ne pehle diya" Arjun said .

"Uncle mujhse" Purvi said .

"Okay ..Mein 60 tumse leta hoon aur baaki ka 60 tumse leta hoon khush?" Uncle said .

They gave him the money and started walking towards their house evidently and Uncle watched them ...Not creepily but with an eyesight of memory ..it reminded him of something he just smiled and drove away .
