CHAPTER 4 : The Spark Admist Darkness ...

RECAP :- Purvi was taking him to the first floor, activities center ,when Arjun turned her around and she fell in his arms oops .. accident .

"Arjun ..leave me" Purvi said .

"As you wish.." and thud she was on the ground .

"Do you even no manners... You don't drop a girl like taht, you Bandar do you even know the H of help . you monkey , you . " Purvi started screaming.

Arjun just came picked her up and she said "Leave me ..no .. don't leave me ." Arjun carried Purvi into the activities center.

Auditions..were going on for the Annual Intra College Drama . Purvi had already given her tryouts and she was short-listed but Punni had got ther role using her sources and Arjun wasn't interested at all but Soham noticed him and wanted him to try out.

Ohh and Soham was the director and boy was he a handsome hunk , The current GS and his orders were orders. Arjun reluctantly went cursing his luck. The lines were "Yes I'm wrong ,I always was but since You came to my Life everything changed, every thing .. I wake up thinking about you ..I sleep thinking about you ..I can't do anything but think about you ..Yes I know you hate me, even I do; I hate you for making me insecure, I hate you .. I hate you .."

"GS , I can't act..why are you wasting your time?"

"Listen New Guy this college runs primarily on my orders and I'm asking you to try out. Don't be all snobbish..Lights focus.. Whats your name ?"

"Bandar" Purvi said impromptly.

"Whaat?..Thought so.." replied Soham.

"I mean Arjun" Purvi said looking at Arjun who was giving her the "I will shoot you the moment I get out of here" look.

"Bandar..I mean Arjun read the lines and improvise ..I see it in you ..Your first take of Scene 3A , Action.." GS said.

Arjun was blank ...He just mouthed "I am wrong, You came"

"Cut..What the hell do you think you're doing?" Soham screamed.

"Read the lines given to you ..Memorize them ..Purvi go stand there and help him" he said his tone softening uttering Purvi.

"All because of you Billi..Why did you bring me here" Arjun whispered angrily.

"You wanted me to show you around .,.It was your fault ...not mine Bandar" Purvi said.

"So what , you could have said No.. and not brought me to this place.."

"Bandar , I hate you anyways troubling you comes naturally to me" Purvi said teasing Arjun.

"Are you guys done rehearsing?"asked The GS.

"Yes Sohamm" Purvi screamed , she knew arjun hadn't seen a single line. Boy, wasn't this going to be fun.." Purvi stand there I want to see How he acts with someone ." Soham smiled at Purvi saying that.

"Action" The GS screamed the light dimmed there was soft music playing around and Purvi was smiling looking at him and for the first time he didn't feel angry.He looked at her and said "You know I was wrong ,I always wanted drive you out of my way..always wanted to stay away from you ..your eyes that make me forget everything else, your hair that falls perfectly, your smile that drives my heart insane ...I hate you for making me feel this way, I hate you for making me so helpless"

Purvi was just startled how the hell did he remember the lines..?

Soham over there forgot to say 'Cut' the scene was so good the lines were fabulous and they weren't in the paper he needed Arjun for the play.

"Arjun you're the lead I could see you had the potential" said an elated Soham.

"What?" Arjun snapped out of the trance the reality precisely taking over. "What me and selected for drama Are you kidding me?"

"See Arjun you are fab..we need you for the play ..The female lead is pathetic but she is the trustee's daughter can't do anything about it..We need you to win this .it's important for the college please"

"Okay..wait Can I think over this" Arjun said confused with the speech Soham had given.

"Purvi please explain it to him" Soham requested.

"Sure.." Purvi gave a fake smile why was everyone hell bent to ruin her life by explaining everything to this annoying creature called Bandar.

After this , Arjun was awkward and went away without telling Purvi.

Purvi however breathed a sigh of relief. She went to the canteen where Sachu and Ovi were waiting for her and put her bag down and started blabbering "What does he think of himself that Bandar, I don't know why I even talk to him and everyone is against me I have to apparently ake his responsibility , do I look like I care No..but still.."

Sachu and Ovi just gave each other glances. "Are you alright Purvi?" Sachin asked. "Do I look Okay to you sachu?"

"First..that Bandar asks me to show him around and then shouts at me uske baad as if that's not enough I've to explain the paly's importance his character etc to him take him to rehearsal , help him through his course.

"Relax babes " Ovi said.

"But who is he ?" Sachin questioned.

"You want to know who he is ..he is a Bandar who came into my life and is ruining everything , an annoying creature who sadly I have to bear with everywhere even in my room , I hate him so much ."

"What?" said both Ovi and Sachin in unison.

"You both are pakka twins look at you both looking at me like that now you don't make anything else...we had no other option okay? It was either us living in the same room or on the roads so we came to truce ." Purvi said all that in one breath.

"You both share a room ..Oh My God!!" Ovi jumped up with joy as if there could be no better news.

"My bestie shares a room with the new hottie..Wow" Ovi was so happy.

Purvi just gave her the look which obviously calmed Ovi down ..Purvi wasn't happy neither was Sachu.

"Don't announce it idiot ..it's just between the three of us okay"

After classes were over , Purvi was about to leave but she wasn't sure Arjun's first day who knew where he was . She started looking for him. Everyone had left the campus. She went searching for Arjun where was he? She was worried not as a friend but as an enemy he was after all her responsibility. She went to the terrace and what she saw was wowable. Arjun was talking to the sky "Maa..I'm confused what am I doing here ? I never wanted to do this I can't act Maa you toh know that my true feelings come out when I act ...Maa I can't do something please Maa"

Purvi couldn't hear hear what he was saying clearly.

"Bandar .. Come You want to stay in college only?" Purvi asked.

"Purvi what ..what are you doing here" Arjun asked shocked.

"I came here to call you saw you talking to the sky thought you went mad and have come to take you to the mental hospital ..Come let's get your treatment done" Purvi said in a sarcastic tone.

"Billi ..You know what I'll have company there cause ultimately you'll be admitted with me" Arjun said.

"If this is over can we please go home Aai must be worried" Purvi said.

"But I thought we were going to the mental hospital" Arjun smirked.
