You guys have wonderfully phrased everything about today that I wanted to say so I am going to talk about three things only that were ridiculous beyond anything:

1) Archana was there right; when arjun first played that tune for purvi? did she not recognise the tune? did she not see purvi's sad face when ovi was singing for arjun? or that arjun did not even smile at his wife's sweet gestures? does she not find any of these things objectionable?

2) Archana's mahan speech on her pari purvi and how she is the most special child of hers and in the very next minute telling ovi that she cannot discriminate between her children. talk about hypocrisy. she can discriminate between purvi and the rest but not discriminate against purvi for her other kids. no mother in the world can ever admit to one child being her special pari out of all the others- even if thats true. i have heard parents telling their kids- oh look how good you brother is why cant you be like that. but even if you asked them which one was their favorite, they still would not consent to one being more preferred than the other.

3) the trust arjun speech. is she serious? first of all ovi has not complained about arjun to archana even once. why did she decide to bring this up? is she trying to brainwash ovi to make it easier for arjun and purvi to flirt around? secondly, what makes her think arjun is trying to make things work? his glum face? and thirdly, what makes her think its ok to tell her sensitive, unhappy, neglected pregnant daughter that she is the sole reason behind the failure of her marriage even after having heard her son in laws declaration of love for someone else 6-7 months back.

she's a terrible mother. she ttly takes the kids she has with her for granted. if she really cant stop her actions from reflecting her preference for purvi over ovi, maybe she shud have let ovi go. savita shud go stay with ovi at arjuns. or better yet savita shud take ovi to canada for a relatively peaceful delivery. ovi shud not have anything to do with these two women or arjun.

Guys , I would agree to just about everything like Archana doing wrong by favouring Purvi more than the other chidren , Purvi doing wrong by leaving Onir and the eye locking Arjun thing , Arjun being wrong that he is not moving on and all that but I can never say that Purvi should not go to the Deshmukh house ...Come on, that is Purvi's home too..She has every right to be there ...as much rights as Ovi and Teju ...

Tanya I agree that now that even Manav has accepted her as his daughter and so have the rest of the Deshmuks, Purvi has as much right as the others to call Deshmuk place her home and be there. But for the moment, it's best if both girls are kept separated. Ovi doesn't want Purvi's unwanted advice and Purvi just thinks she's doing Ovi a big favor by smothering her with unwanted concern. It's not Purvi she wants love, attention, and concern from, it's Arjun, her husband 😆. If he dedicated a little bit of his time and effort into making her comfortable and happy, Ovi would be overjoyed but he's only stuck on keeping his gaze locked on the sati-savitri ex.

Well, Tanyaz, let me try to answer your post logically (as I am anything but logical right now, coming down with something tonight).

Anyway, to a girl, a maikka is made up of her parents and family. It isn't only and necessarily the house, although it does form an integral part, especially if lived over a period of time so that can be associated with memories.

Of course, for Purvi, how long she really knows the Deshmukhs, hardly 9 months of which she went missing 6 months and of the remaining 3 months, she actually knew them for say, 1 or 2 months. So, for her the association must be stronger with the Karanjkar home and with Archana and Sulo. Even the members of Deshmukhs are very new to her. For a preggo girl, her spending time is generally with known and comfy surroundings and for Purvi, her comfort zone must undoubtedly be Karanjkar. So, for me, I was surprised that she walks right into the D's household, when her natural tendency and impulse could be Karanjkar's familiar surroundings...besides, the very lack in the cordial atmosphere as you point out, coupled with her undercurrent with Arjun, could also probably force her to choose Karanjkar house any day over Deshmukh's. Now, I am not saying she shouldn't spend more time with her new found family, but that bonding should be done under cordial circumstance and with being forced into. I mean, the way it is being shown here, everyone seems to have accepted (rather blindly) Purvi, except Ovi (with very valid reasons) when in reality the very first adjustment needed in bonding is understanding personalities.., in my humble opinion...the whole situation is unbelievable and to make matters worst all the elders seem to see this unique Arjun/Ovi/Purvi through a magical mirror that shows them Ovi to be at fault for failing to trust Arjun, when at least as viewers most of us have a totally different perception...

i want manav to ask purvi 'why she didnot inform him the marraige with onir, because purvi was behind manav to do kanyadaan'...

i really don't understand why purvi didn't marry onir infront of all her so called parivaar...

in one of the episode purvi said to ovi not to put nail polish...if purvi was so concerned about ovi, where this concern went when ovi did suicide attempt...

if purvi really cares for ovi, doesn't she know she is giving her more pain and that could give more strain to ovi's weak womb...

if purvi really cares for ovi, then why she didn't get married to onir infront of arjun-purvi...

arjun would have moved-on very quickly if he saw onir-purvi loving each other, and having happy married life...

why noone asking purvi how many weeks preggo she is...as ovi is introduced 22 weeks preggo, so she must be now 26+ weeks preggo and it is godhbarayi time...(i think maharashtrians do godh barayi in 7th month)...
