oh no tanya...i dont disagree with you about arjun's scenerio and at times i do feel for him too. but come on he is human right? terrible things happen to human beings all the time and they deal with it. all ovi wants is a little bit of attention and that seems like too much for him to deal with. on the other hand leaving her seems like too much for him to deal with. i mean come on dude be a man. he had the guts/audacity to slap his legally wed wife infront of everyone in a party but he didnt have the guts to say no to purvi's marry ovi, sleep with ovi 'orders'?!?ovi may be terribly spoilt but that has nothing to do with the requests she makes of arjun. she never asked him for things that were beyond his affordability. yes she doesnt like dr. onir but to be fair i dont think any of us would appreciate a doctor who was as condescending as onir to her and also his chamber is not within her comfort zone its natural for her to feel off. and most of all as we learnt from onir and arjuns convo today, ovi makes arjun irritated because she is miserable. and as for the conditions of their marriage. she never signed a contract saying she will be a desk lamp in arjuns bedroom forever, and arjun never said that he finds her impossible to love or even care for or spend some time with. infact he asked to try make his marriage work- that means spending time with her and working out their differences, not sleeping with her occasionally and living life in complete silence. love is overrated but not companionship and commitment. i think its clear by now how rare moments like today are in ovis life and arjun barely said a word to her!BUT f all that, if he doesnt wanna make any effort whatsoever, atleast make a little bit of effort and LEAVE! your not doing ovi, your baby or yourself any favors dude. your making path for a child who will be miserable between parents who are constantly at war (i knw kids from divorced families are perfectly fine but not when their parents are constantly bitter about each other) whilst you and your wife are already miserable! he's just a mentally weak man who doesnt know how to stand up for what he wants or properly honor his commitments and im not talking about love tanya just friendship and companionship. if purvi was never in the picture, him and ovi would have been married and whether he loved her or not, he would have kept her happy cos she was his best friend or wouldve atleast tried right? well dats what he really shud have done when purvi exited the picture and he asked for a second chance.makes sense?
Agree with what you say for a large extent.
Arjun has to take responsibility for his actions. The marriage fiasco, though ridiculous, was still better than the present scenario.
After the level of relationship Arjun and Purvi had, it seems very unfair not only to both of them but also Ovi, that they gave up each other just like that!
However, there was still space for Arjun to retreat from his relationship with Ovi.
But after Ovi's pregnancy, does it seem correct that Arjun gives up Ovi? The pregnancy could have been avoided until Arjun made up his mind as to what he really wanted. His current behaviour makes Ovi's petulance somewhat justified. Pregnancy need not always be happiness and ga-ga-ing. It has its own share of frustrating moments and when Ovi is aware of her situation with Arjun, her frustration is bound to show up.
This reminds me somewhat of manav's situation when he put sindoor in Shravani's maang in the presence of his wife just to please his mother. What a hateful moment it was!
But men cannot keep blaming the women around them and acting the victim always. Some where Arjun needed to listen to his heart and act accordingly. There, I think, he has failed, both as a lover and husband!
With a child on its way, maybe it is too late now.
