Archana is shopping for murtis in a lane where there are lots of stalls .Purvi too comes there ( on another stall ) and she buys little red scarves .By mistake Purvi drops one of the scarf , Archana runs behind her to tell her this but there are too many people and she can't get to Purvi .She only sees Purvi's back .
Ovi is dressed in a saree .She is feeling a bit irritated that she has to go to this pooja ( where Doctor Onir invited her , Arjun and Archana ) . Archana tells her that they must go because they will get to see the Bengali customs and also get blessings from the devi .Arjun comes in .He tells Ovi that she is looking beautiful in the saree and should wear saree more often .Ovi is looking happy to hear him say this .
Purvi is also getting ready to go to this Puja .She feels happy that Onir's patient is coming there with his wife and mother in law and they will get to see their beautiful traditions . She plans to take the ladies for the sindoor khela ceremony . When she is ready then Onir puts a kala nazar ka tika on her and tells her that she is looking beautiful today and she looks beautiful every day ... He tells her that he just cannot compliment her enough .Purvi sounds very happy to hear this .
In a big mandir , the pooja starts .Onir and Purvi are already there . Purvi does the puja and puts sindoor on all the murtis .Arjun, Archana and Ovi also enter the mandir .Arjun goes to look for Onir . Archana and Ovi are watching how all the ladies are putting sindoor on each other .Purvi is also doing this happily but then she suddenly sees Arjun standing pretty near her .He is talking on the phone and has not seen her .
Purvi is shocked like anything . There is a lot of sindoor in the air so she closes her eyes for a second . Arjun moves away in this time only .When Purvi opens her eyes , she does not see Arjun there .She thinks that maybe she was imagining him .
She goes to the Durga murti and prays that she tried her best to keep Arjun out of her heart and her mind but today she thought about him.She prays to Durga Ma to give her strength to stay firm on her decisions ...
Onir comes and stands next to her .
He says that she is praying so hard , if she has any problems then she should tell her pati ( meaning him ) . He also tells her to be careful in the sindoor khela ceremony ( as she is pregnant ) . Arjun calls Onir and tells him that he is there with his family .
Onir goes out to meet Arjun .Arjun introduces Onir to his family .Onir invites Archana and Ovi to come in to play sindoor khela .Ovi is reluctant but Archana tells her to come and take Durga ma's blessings for her sake .
Onir takes them inside the hall where sindoor khela is taking place .Purvi is also around ther and other ladies are putting sindoor on her .. Ovi and Archana also go to the other ladies and they also join in the sindoor khela . Ovi gets thirsty and goes for a drink of water . She is about to ask a woman for water , approaches her from the back ( the girl is Purvi ) but Purvi walks away .
Purvi again sees Arjun , she is shocked and is sure that now she is not imagining ..She turns and sees Ovi as well and is even more shocked now .She thinks that they are there because maybe they came looking for her ( they did not see her ) .. Purvi quickly walks away quickly fro mthe hall..Ovi too is around but Purvi walks really fast and gets out of the hall where Arjun and Purvi were ...
Suddenly someone puts sindoor on Purvi .When she turns , she is shocked to see her mother Archana in front of her ...
Archana is also shocked like anything to see Purvi here ..The first thing Archana notices is that Purvi is pregnant . Purvi tries to put her hand on her stomach but it is too obvious ..Archana starts screaming at her that she is married and pregnant , what is going on here ? ...she just cannot believe what she saw ...
Purvi says that Arjun and Ovi are here and do not tell them anything then Purvi runs away leaving a shell shocked Archana calling her . Ovi comes to Archana and asks her who she was talking to .Archana makes some excuse ...
Arjun also comes to Archana , he is happy that Ovi is in a good mood . He sees Archaan crying and asks her what she is crying .Archana makes up an excuse that she is worried about Ovi's pregnancy .Arjun consoles her that everything is going to be all right .
Purvi calls Archana and tells her to come where Purvi is waiting for her .Outside the mandir , Purvi is crying as well.
Archana goes out to meet Purvi tells Arjun that she is going back to the hotel ...
When Archana goes to Purvi , Purvi hugs her and tells her that she missed her a lot . A very angry Archana pushes her back and tells her that she has lost her rights to call her a mother as Purvi has forgotten how a daughter should behave with her Mother ..
Both Archana and Purvi are crying .
Archana tells Purvi that she has given her the biggest shock of her life and though they were in touch on the phone , Archana always felt close to Purvi but today she knows that Purvi has left her mother far away from her .
Archana starts crying that Purvi got married and also is pregnant , she has no shame that she was hiding something like this from her mother ...and does Purvi have any idea what she is feeling her right now seeing her daughter like this ...
She demands to know why did Purvi hide this from her .
Precap : Onir and Arjun are talking .Onir asks Arjun if there are problems between him and Ovi ? He calls Ovi a petulant child and very immature ..He says that she misbehaves because she wants attention from Arjun .
