2nd thing the Purvi n Ovi's scene the way purvi was enjoying the scene i felt Archana's sanskar are till there in her mind but Ovi she is sarcastic yaar how can a women don't love her own kid?Aai archu pls don't waste ur great sanskars on ovi bcoz it gonaa help her out.
My humble two cents: i loved the purvi and ovi scene today...it highlighted very interesting paradigms to me. i saw two pregnant women...
ek jo patni hote hua bhi bin bihai ma ki tarah apne bacche ko janaam de rahi hain. ovi literally is just going through this pregnancy with her mother in a foreign city in a kind of middle class hotel in a tiny clinic with a gynecologist instead of an obstetrician. her husband is going around the city praying for his baby. he sincerely believes that his wife wants to murder his child so its obviously the most logical thing to leave her alone to actually go through with it. Archana is wasting her breath...most girls who do this alone dont really enjoy the process. jab bacha lath marta hai, its not a painful experience at all, its like a flutter. its the first time it actually dawns on you that you have a life in you and the only person you want to share that moment with is the man who is the baby's father...otherwise it only makes you realise how lonely you are in all this. having your mother there does not help.
dusri bin bihai ma bannewali thi. beech mein use ek aisa humsafar mila jo uske saath har waqt reh tha hai and he loves and adores her and THEIR baby. Onir has been their through every step of purvi's pregnancy...kept her happy and cared for her. no wonder shes so in love with her life, her baby and her home! it is the most awesome feeling to be showered with such devotion from the man you share a life with when you are going through pregnancy.
your saathi has a big hand in how you look at pregnancy. even if she didnt want the baby ovi would have loved it just because its arjuns, if he was there with her every step of the way and she felt genuinely cared for and not just like a vessel carrying his heir. i read a post yesterday that ovi should not expect anything from arjun cos she knew what she was getting into- a loveless marriage. yes but arjun came back to her and asked for a second chance when she was ttly ready to give up (mirror scene)...she has full right to expect that he would atleast try to love her when thats what he asked her for- a second chance to love her (its a part of a husband's responsibility). and most certainly she has the right to ask for attention and love when she is giving birth to his baby.
i really hope purvi values dr. onir and doesnt run to arjun at the first chance. she doeant know how good she has it with him. his love and her devotion for their family was really touching.
