Archana's dresses - Page 8

In my opinion... these days 50 year olds are not "old" people. Whatever Archana is wearing is not out of place at all... BUT because the actor Ankita is actually so young, that in order to look the part she needs to look aged to look convincing. I mean an actual 55 year old can and do wear leggings and kurtis, can have their hair up in a ponytail... can have a well maintained figure... and might be a younger looking person... but will never look like a 20 something ! So Savita and Sulo inspite of going without grey hairs, and thick glasses still manage to look their part, where as Archana fails.In her current avatar she looks way too young to look the part of a mother of grown up children. For a pretty young thing like her, extra efforts are necessary... a saree adds maturity. Even my 13 year old niece looked like a young woman when she dressed in a saree recently at a wedding !!! Even if Archana wore salwar kameezes, because its Ankita wearing them, it has to , for the lack of a better term, "dowdy" looking... or else its impossible to make Ankita "look" old ! I am NOT judging Ankita here... its her choice at the end of the day... As for calling her unprofessional on this ground.. well yeah in other circumstances it might have been so... but then I don't even find the story tellers very professional either... the makers are the most unprofessional people here... they show no passion for their work... so I can't blame the actors here. The only people who are actually passionate about this show are the viewers I guess.

I encourage my mom to wear kurtas, esp while traveling...or on picnic...😕
She didnt wear this 20 yrs ago, coz this trend wasnt back then...
I watch everyday women in train be it first or second class, women groom themselves well...even who are near 60 😕

I have seen Ankita discarding the Cv's track, when they are illogical...right on camera...which I dont think majority of establish actors still do it...
till the end moment she gives hints what actually should happen and what is happeneing in show(be it Purvi's leave, or her pregnancy)
But I guess this is noticed by none...

I agree she dont look old, so do majority of mom on television...I saw Manasi salvi yest in another show...

Manjusha , Savita , Sulochna , Manav , Vinod ...all these characters are older than Archana ...so why only this demand of greying your hair for Ankita only ...

I think to grey the hair , the demand should first go to Sulochna and Savita ( the oldest girl in PR )

The character of Varsha is just a few years younger than Archana but she too is wearing full make up, has not done grey hair ( she is supposed to be poor )

These days women who are 50 do not have grey hair ( I am talking about the majority who live in cities and have rich husbands like Archana has ) , they get their hair died and enjoy experimenting with different hair styles ...

I kinda agree.. It is confusing for normal viewers to see a character wo once wore sarees then wear slawars and then wear kurtis as the age of the character gets older!

Ankita is not interested in playing this character anymore.They should let her go.

I agree. Purvi is looking older than archana. Its ridiculous. Ankita may look gorgeous but archana is looking sooo out of place... I think she should just leave if she isn't interested in playing archana...

Ankita wanted to leave now but Ekta stopped her till Feb / March next year ..Archana will be slowly faded out or maybe till then they will find another replacement for her ..

is it main problem now?i cant get where story of the show so bullshit, illogical why anki's dress only making prob to viewers😲tanya whatever u say but ppl like to talk about her dress bc nobody cant take off their eyes from ankita bc she looking so gorgeous😆😆
