I saw her PG in a montage , a good 8 months or so ...the stuffing was so much that it looked as if she was expecting twins ...and there were articles too about both Purvi and Ovi being pregnant. But if what you say is right then I guess script has been changed in the last 48 hours or so ..

I was in fact delighted about this, for I have in the past strongly defended Purvi against similar insinuations. Of late I had begun to despair, and was almost sure that there would be this ugly and incomprehensible track of Purvi having Arjun's baby, but it does seem now that it is not going to be that at all.
Well if she is not pregnant with Arjun's baby then for me too it is a good thing for her character ..Purvi is supposed to be the heroine of the show now and I just cannot imagine people accepting a girl who gets pregnant outside marriage to be a heroine , at least not in a show called Pavitra Rishta ( marriage ) .
In that case I shall apologise to Purvi and will be happy that she is still Aie ki good sanskaari beti 😆 ...
Then again, why do you feel that her marriage to Dr. Onir is a sham one? It seems to be a perfectly regular affair, and the staff is completely
au fait with it, plus the conversation between the two of them at the puja was a very normal husband and wife conversation.
As no one else was listening to them, it was obviously not a put up show like Arjun's over the top and patently fake billing and cooing with Ovi at the award function.
I must say that I was also shocked .
Shyamala , I had read it somewhere that the marriage will eb a fake one and everyone will believe that Purvi is Onir's wife ...but later will find out that they never did marry ...but that was just an article and could well have been wrong ..
The way Purvi and Onir were talking to each other , it looked as if she was clearly giving Onir the idea that she enjoys the fact that he loves his wife ( if it is her ) so much ..
Onir is head over heels in love with her , that's for sure ...
we will just have to see for this too...
I hope you are right Shyamala , if she is Onir's wife and being a good and faithful wife to him then that is good ...much better than faking marriage ...
Maybe the writers here also have taken a U turn and they don't want to show Purvi as someone who does not respects marriage ...
So why can Purvi not be legally and properly married to Dr. Onir, say 2 or 3 months ago? She would NOT want Arjun to land up there, for obvious reasons, and so she would have avoided any contact with either the Ds or the Ks. Any desire to have Manav do her
kanyadaan would not weigh as much with her as the need to avoid any further trouble with Arjun and Ovi.
That I can accept that she did not wish to have her parents informed .Anyway she did tell Archana that except for you, no one is happy with me being in your home ...( she said that when she was leaving ) I guess she was speaking the truth and is now tired of this whole drama of happy family when she knows well that the only family she has is really her mother and Aaji Sulochna .Manav had shown his willingness for her kanyadaan because he was only doing it to give a nice end to his relationship with Archana .He is Ovi's dad before anything else and that's Ok ..he is still very nice to Purvi ...but Purvi did the right thing that she did not inform Manav to come and do the kanyaddan...
As for Archana , Purvi knows that her happiness means everything to Archana ( more than even attending her wedding ) so Purvi did what was best for her life ...
There is a lot of trust between Purvi and Archana ..they don't have to explain their actions to each other .
I hope she is properly married to Onir ...Again I will owe her another apology ...😆
I do not know what the CVs will do in the next few months, but it does seem to me too that the Arjun-Purvi reunion is no longer on the cards.
If they are to get together , it has to be through the right channel ...not the way things are at this time ..It looks very wrong right now ..
