he might have gone to london for attending any case or conference or something else... if he was in london then why will manav will not be able to find him out.. he must wandering around world to solve cases...
otherwise even purvi might have stayed with him in london and both might have returned recently...

Seriously, This is indian serial. Even hindi medical dramas sometime show illogical stuff. We talking about a show that is showing a 22 weeks pregnancy as if it is a 7 mths pregnancy. Logic ki baat toh jaro hi mat.

This doc can be sued just for that whack ! Uttterly riduculous!! For a specialist, his clinic is miserable looking, looks like a nukhad dawakhana and which doctor has a sign like a kirana store?
