Each character has shades of grey - some towards the darker end of the spectrum but that's what makes them interesting to all of us.

I wonder if they will serve both halwa and juice at the party? 🤣

I think the real person who needs to be slapped is Puni - she's the one who is instigating all this and Ovi is falling victim to her evil intentions

Wife (in name only) or not, right is right, and wrong is wrong, glad someone had the guts to shut her up!!! Kudos to Arjun! Hope this wakes up Ovi ma'am from her self inflicted stupor of aggrandizement.

Actually it does work . The marriges i mean .😊 Even cosummation takes place and even children r born . The old flames r quickly forgotten and stored for a rocking chair moment in the memory bank . And the wives , yes , even bred in India not in westernized Canada r not so understanding and serve beverages chupchaap like Ovi but throw tantrums even if the ex is mentioned . 😊 Dunno which idealistic naive world they r showing .😆😆 Trust issues cannot be the binding agent of any marraige ...open eyes and hard core practical decisions r , as no marraige is perfect . If trust issues were the basis how are ARMAN the best couple and how is their marraige pavitra .😆

They feed such lies to the minds of romantic youngstters , really . Everlasting pyaar , and it being above marraige and what not .

Btw kalapi ...the slap was not shown today . I watched it after many days only for it . They had a family party in a posh hotel but to show chawl culture they danced on Gori gauri mandvakhaali ...a famous song in lower middle class and often put in chawl mandaps .😕

Waiting for the slap .😉

LOL. While whatever Arjun-Purvi do is not excusable on many counts, but what Ovi does apparently is? I would like to see this in real life, ( since most of your examples about illicit relationships between jeeju-saali being wrong are from reality and not keeping in mind that this is a fictional show) where a woman is termed "bichari", "nice", vulnerable, when she is obsessed with a boy, makes a deal for him over her father's happiness, and then we all excuse her for being so vulnerable without a mother's love and boyfriend ditching, and that she is wronged all the time and her marriage is absolutely valid!

If every child who grew up without love and support, would be excused for being obsessed over a person and make their life hell by repeated suicide attempts and making deals for husbands, I must say, society be damned, everyone would be animals.

LOL LOL LOL. If someone supports that kind of thinking in reality, it is definitely a sign of ghor kalyug. I would NEVER ever support people like Arjun and Purvi if they were real characters, and I do not support what they are doing in the show either, however I am not biased or blind towards Ovi either.

And chalo, terrorists is a far ad unjust claim, but do you equate Ovi with women who are homebreakers, like in the movie Arth, if you've seen it? Smita Patil plays a movie star I think, where she is vulnerable to alcohol, is going through depression and is obsessively in love with a married man. you do feel sorry for her throughout the movie because of her circumstances, but not for once do I excuse that kind of behavior from a woman or man. If she were my friend, I would condemn it. Ovi was obsessed with Arjun ( knowing well he was going to marry Purvi) and did make a deal for him ( keeping aside why Arjun-Purvi followed through), so in my head, MY POV Strictly, she is getting what she deserved. our actions are not contingent on what other people do. If you love someone, if you are a nice person beneath all the sham, you know the difference between right and wrong. I do not excuse Ovi for making the deal simply because Purvi and Arjun took it. The mind of a "not such a nice" but obsessed and crazy person works in these ways, nice people don't work that way :P and if people are excused for doing such things in the name of "poor little girl without motherly love", well, I see the end of civil society very soon.

Purvi made halwa to stir up Arjun's memories ( which I didn't see happening btw, he got no flashback of his lovely halwa times with Purvi, he in fact ate it chup chap without any show of emotion), so I guess it didn't really work, did it? So all the claims of her making halwa are amusing. But yes, I do agree that the nonsense they are showing between Arjun and Purvi isn't right, but to term them as disgusting whilst giving the clean chit to Ovi for everything is really lopsided, don't you think? Ovi is excused for being vulnerable thanks to lack of motherly love and what not, Purvi can be excused for that too! She finds it hard to let go of Arjun because she needs a man to depend on thanks to growing up without a father? Arjun loves only Purvi after his mom, he finds it hard to detach, let's blame that on being a lonely single child without father's attention and mother' love, can we? No one can be excused in this stupid love triangle. But to paint Ovi in white holiness while saying how she is real, is pretty biased opinions.

So the point is that when everything comes to Arjun-Purvi, people may be biased, but when it comes ot Ovi too, most people here are biased! So we're all even now I guess :P

If there is constant trust issues how can the marriage even be expected to work? Why would the husband/wife give up on loving the person who made them feel special for the person who uses every opportunity to throw it in their face?

its about time that everyone deals with this farce and no place better than a D party😆

Laurie, you are wrong, when it comes to Ovi, the natural laws of order get reversed. Arjun is expected to not only put a stopper on his feelings for Purvi, his love, his ex-fiance, probably his first and legal wife, but he is also supposed to magically turn off the tap of his emotions and divert his affections, nay, his undying love towards Ovi. Friendship and fidelity, he may be able to offer, undying love, a bit much to ask for, don't you think? But since when has the thought of asking much ever stopped the "I want, I want" Ovi?
