Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali and a Happy New Year to all who will celebrate the New Year tomorrow.

Flip Flop Archu indeed - I too was stumped at her U-Turn yesterday.

I have not watched the episode yet but I hope Arjun sticks to his guns and does not go around and lie in court just to keep Purvi happy. If he does that it will be one more nail in the coffin of his character. I do not want him to compromise his integrity in this scenario.

I just now caught today's epi online and I am so sick of Archana's flip flopping. She changes colors very quickly. One minute she says something, the other minute she totally changes her mind. And she had the nerve to slap Soham another time in front of the media. How many times has she slapped Soham? And why are Sulo and Archu always the one dishing out slaps to everyone? No one ever slaps them they always get away with everything! It is Archana's fault that Soham is a gunda today. If she did not hand him over to Varsha on the day of Ovi and Teju's b- day party then Soham could have been raised far better. Archana was the one who freed Soham from jail going against Manav's wishes. She hated how everyone in the Deshmukh Family criticized him yet here she is slapping him and insulting him in front of public!

And Purvi annoyed me more then anything today! I can't believe she would ask Arjun to LIE at court. Purvi wanted Arjun to tell a lie that Soham/Vishnu did not actually shoot him but just tried to defend himself?! I am so sick of Purvi and her mahaanta. I hate how she always has to be Miss Know it All or Miss Perfect as if she is always right when 99.99% of the time she is wrong! Now Arjun had better know who cares more for him- Ovi or Purvi? It's gotta be Ovi. She will always be there for him, support him thru thick and thin unlike Purvi who wants him to lie for the person who almost shot him! Thank God Arjun didn't listen to Purvi and for once he used his brain!

1 other thing I noticed was I really dislike how Purvi has to be the one who bonds with Soham and tries to "reform" him while Sachu, Teju, and Ovi have to be shown as hating their brother Soham. Can't they show the Deshmukhs trying to bond with Soham? And also I hope Soham blasts Archana for always neglecting him when he was little. I want him to know that Manav was the one who tried to protect him from Varsha but Archana always came in the way and cared far more for her sister then him. I really don't want to see Archana being let off the hook as always and Manav getting all the heat.

Happy Diwali to everyone!😊

Kool 🤗, will write my short piece since I miss coming here and discussing with you all. Archana's flip-flop nature is inherent in her character, it cannot be changed and it will no be-because nobody points it out to her and that it's wrong. In this case, I will blame everyone from sulochana, manav and savita to the kids who are all literally on their knees trying to please her instead of bluntly asking what's with the sudden change in attitude. Just like archana, sulochana and purvi are to blame for enabling manju's deeds more than manju herself.

What's with purvi though? When she was kidnapped and then rescued leaving her baba behind, she seemed out of her wits; which is of course natural. She was scraed facing soham and the other kidnappers later in jail and outside-again natural. What's unnatural is her stand since she came to know vishnu is soham. If she felt so safe in his care when she was kidnapped, why did she bother to come back instead of reforming the "accha baccha" vishnu. After all, her reformist tendencies were already fully developed. Why did she allow manav to handover all his hardearned money to rescue her; and why did she run with arjun instead of asking him to join her in the car while vishnu carefully dropped them all home after getting his money. It's carzy and unnatural and oh so unreal! Ovi's, teju's, arjun's and Manav's reactions are much more normal; though I would have liked to see the manav who went so crazy after he lost soham the last time. His reactions then were so much more real; maybe he thought he had lost soham for good and that's why he doesn't seem to care as much about him now? No idea; even with their crazy and weak characterizations, the CVs should atleast make them consistent and based on prior behaviors.

Anyways, I think Sachu is the only one who realistically can and should bond with soham-atleast in the beginning. He's the only one among the Deshmukhs who did not have a negative interaction with soham as he is now-- ovi was kidnapped but escaped, purvi was kidnapped and held at ransom, manav and archana both held at gunpoint and teju witnessing the latter scene-- only Sachu didn't actually experience this kind of emotional turmoil that realistically a person goes through who suffered through it. Even hearing about it later is not the same as being an eye-witness. Among the siblings, he was also the only one who actually had a connection and bonded with soham before everything went to hell. It makes Sachu the natural choice that he feels the brotherly bond he actually shared and developed with soham--not purvi who should only be feeling fear and disgust (not because she is adopted but because of her interactions with him-similar to ovi's and teju's feelings about soham). Btw, I do think Soham deserves a chance- several chances actually. He acts the way he has been brought up, and does the only things he has seen other people do. It really is arman's fault that they were not able to protect him and give him the lifestyle he deserved--if then he made a choice to go criminal, he totally deserves jailtime, their disgust and all the lectures in the world 😆 Not now. What he deserves is the truth, time and space--and some kind of a familial tie with his estranged family, maybe Sachu. Would love to see their bonding.

Well, my short piece turned into an essay as usual😆. Felt great posting here again though 😳

Happy Diwali all!

Kools this isn't your usual commentary(thread title was a giveaway), nevertheless I enjoyed it. I haven't watched the episode but my sister ran in to tell me about Purvi's foolishness.

I can't believe Purvi is telling Arjun to lie to the court. Not asking him but telling him (according to my sister). She is under the stupid impression that she and her family could change Soham. Archana gave up on that now and is supporting her husband but she forgot to check what her laadli Purvi is up to. I hope Arjun doesn't surprise us later by appearing in court and actually lying just because Purvi told him to and he wants to honor her love. I will send a thousand chappals his way. I think Arjun should see the light and ask his sasural to keep Purvi under watch. I don't know what's happened to Purvi but lately she has gotten very annoying with her Soham dada jaap. How does she forget the fact that he kidnapped her and threatened to kill her? How does she forget that he shot Arjun (not once but twice)? How does she forget that he held a gun to her mother's head and threatened her precious Baba?

I hate how Archana, Sulochana, and Purvi all see him as a project. He is practically an animal for them to tame. According to them, he has lived a pitiful life with the savages (Varsha and Balan) and they can help him and save his soul. What phooey!

I've had it with Purvi's mahaanta. She shows a lack of good judgement. She keeps interfering in matters that aren't hers. Firstly, Purvi never knew Soham when he was young nor actually did Teju and Ovi. The twins are keeping their distance because they see what a threat Soham is to their parents and family. They aren't trying to warm up to Soham or trying to make him part of the family. This doesn't show that they're selfish like some may think. In their place, they are doing the right thing. Purvi thinks she's doing the right thing, but is she? Supporting a goon just because you find out he's your so-called brother? Telling someone to lie in court? Does all this make her think she will reach the highest level of mahaanta? By doing all this, she is making a mockery of her family's decisions. She will ruin the case they are holding against Soham and all because she thinks there's a chance for him to be good. Whatever! She is trying to cross the limits of law and all for someone who just might possibly kill her entire family!

I totally agree... Purvi's decisions can totally ruin everything.. I dont doubt she has good intentions but they always go haywire! If it does then I also would somewhat blame Archu as she should be keeping Purvi in line and in check. She needs to tell Purvi that the Soham issue is not her problem but hers and Manav's and that she needs to focus on her own life.
Purvi is starting to go blind in her love to reunite her mom with ehr family, Someone needs to come there and whip off the blindfold that she has created.
Its really sad to see what Cv's have made of her character if you watch scenes from when the show first started you'd think it was her twin..

@ bold - I agree. But even if Archana tells Purvi to back off on her Soham mission, I think Purvi will still go ahead and do as she pleases. She'll think that even if Archana doesn't say she wants Soham in the family anymore, that doesn't mean that it's true. She'll probably try to make Archana understand why supporting Soham is the right thing to do and I won't be surprised if Archana agrees with her and then ends up turning against Manav in this case. I hope for once Archana sticks to her decision. She flip flops a lot, but hopefully supporting Manav and her family against Soham is her ultimate decision.

Ha your probably right.. I really hope not maybe her real mom should come in her dreams and knock some sense into her... She doesn't realize that at the end of the day she is the one loosing the most.. I really dont want Archana to flip flop again shes the older person she can't let her child tell her what to do.. I think it will be Manav this time trying to knock sense into Purvi since he was the one who said she is crazy..

Manav called Purvi crazy😲? Well done! Now he should drive some sense into her and force her to drop her Soham mission. Even if he has to be rude and blunt and look like the enemy, then so be it. She won't listen to Archana so I'm hoping that if Manav prevents her from helping Soham then she should listen to him. She's had her way far too long.
