I agree that manav and archana have not been fair to Soham and they have made some foolish decisions but they never meant to hurt anyone on purpose. i am NOT defending them, because they have hurt Soham the most in all these and his life is all messed up.
But when it comes to Soham, Savita has been totally unfair to him. and he was her own grandson.
We saw how she genuinely loved Ovi and Teju and she gave her everything to raise them. Why not the same love for Soham????
Because this is a story of mistakes.
And in this story of mistakes , ARMAN'S mistakes are far far greater .
We went very hard on Savita when she pinched him or told Archana to give him up for adoption .
But look at the outcomes .
A one time pinch and an adoption by an excellent man like Satish would not have destroyed the poor boy;s life .
The blind love for a sister and the kidnapping did .
In the 2 mistakes , Savita's is far more pardonable than Archana's .
Right now the show is showing non forgiveness for mistakes .
For lying to her son about the plane tickets and keeping Archana away for 18 years ,she is ostracized . The punishment is ostracization right ? Let us not go into the rights or wrongs of this debatable action . But it is , right ?
Then what is the punishment for the destruction of a boy's life ? Due to Archana's and Varsha;s mistakes Soham's life got destroyed .
The fact that Arman have not been fair to him is an under statement . They have single handedly destroyed his life . Archana for risking him to prove her darling sister was cured , Varsha for kidnpping him and Manav for not snatching him right back out of foolish Archana's hand and saying he is MY son too and I say your sister does not hold him .
I abhorred the pinch but Savita has never done it to her grandchildren ever except that one time . She gave them a good parvarish and university educations . She did not tourn them into goons or encourage them to drive taxis instead of going to college .
Her mistake is nothing where Arman's is concerned .
That one pinch is unforgivable and her other actions are unforgivable but Archana's life wrecking mistakes r not and this lover boy mid life cisis stricken Manav tells her 'You did no galti and Varsha took faida of ur achaayi ?''
Archana hears baby music now ? How come she never heard it when she lent Soham to Varsha for 3 years ? How come she never heard it when she agreed at first for the adoption ?Each time she fuelled Varsha first then drew back when things got out of hand .
Even the adoption ...she was fine with it till Sulochana told her otherwise . She first lent her baby like a toy instead of keeping him permanently with her then she increased her hopes by agreeing to give up for adoption and cancelled it at last minute .
She drove Varsha to madness by first pampering her and then when it got out of hand , rejecting her .
In this show uptill now she has destroyed 2 boys ' lives . Varun and Soham . She saw to it that that cancer afflicted boy got an illegalstatus simply bcoz her illegal sister should somehow get a legal marraige .
She gave Soham to Varsha and her act of stopping the adoption at the last minute after giving her hope and later on insisting that once more she should be a part of his life led to the final kidnapping .
This time the fall guys r Manav who unknowingly shot him and Varsha .
And so i say , that if Savita's deeds r not forgiven why should hers be . She should get same ostracization from her son coz she too spoilt 18 years of his life .
And if maafis r being distributed like burfis ...if Manju and Punni r invited everywhere and reinstated on jobs inspite of horrendos deeds simply a they are Archana's relatives why should Savita not bond with her grandson when she is truly repentant .
