The popular TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput seems to be a lucky guy. He has already signed big films such as Rajkumar Hirani's 'Peekay', and
Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kai Po Che'. And now it is reported that he would be cast opposite the
'Ishaqzaade' girl Parineeti Chopra in the upcoming YRF's flick directed by Maneesh Sharma.

After casting Ranbir Singh in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl', the filmmaker wanted to cast Shahid Kapoor in
his next film. But later he
considered Sushant Singh Rajput for the role. Parineeti Chopra has already featured in two films of the YRFs productions viz., 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Ishaqzaade'.

Pavitra Rishta's Sushant Rajput to act in Yash Raj's film

Sushant Singh Rajput who got popular as Maanav in the daily soap Pavitra Rishta is sure flying in the air and why not? The actor has bagged a film under the Yash Raj banner and thus has every reason to be on top of the world.

Yash Raj Films' (YRF) untitled film was initially set to feature Shahid
Kapoor under the direction of Maneesh Sharma who directed
hit films Band Baaja Baarat and Ladies Vs Ricky Behl.

Unfortunately the shooting got postponed as Maneesh fell ill and
eventually Shahid stepped out of the project because of his other
professional commitments. The production house obviously started to look out for other actors and finally chose Sushant.
And a spokesperson from YRF confirmed this news and said, "Yes, he has been finalized."

Sushant will be casted opposite Parineeti Chopra in this yet-to-be titled film and is produced by
Aditya Chopra. Also, there is news that the film will feature two heroines and the other actress will be a new face.

Sushant Singh has already got two big films in his kitty; Kai Po Che directed by Abhishek Kapoor
of the Rock On fame and PK directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Way to go Sushant! All the best.
