Taya...i am absolutely curious to see how Cvs move forward with Ovi/Arjun and Purvi track...I want to see how Arjun is reduced to a toy and passed around between the girls...but Ovi asking Arjun is very believable...especially since all of them are now often f2f...any wife, after what Arjun did to Ovi before will have question esp. when the relationship between ArOvi hasn't started as yet...

hmm...so true pavitra saat janam ke pyaar, which only resulted in distrust and separation and 3 times almost divorces...yup, many examples of very happy successful arrange marriages...

for arranged marraiges PR itself is example there is no love needed...
savita staying with bewda damo
sulo stayed with poor mano, mano with sanskari sulo
manav staying with gothel archu

PR itself is great example that there are worst weddings
archu and manav wedding
manav and shravani wedding
manju and vinod wedidng
vyshu and dharmesh wedding
dharmesh and madhuri wedding
varsha and satish wedding
ajit and vandu wedding

but from yesterday mall varsha chase episode what i felt is...arjun is slowing acepting the situation and marraige with ovi...

but purvi should go out from the scenario, remember archu moved out of the town to make manav-shravani together...but as soon as archu is back in town the love bubbles started again...as there was no relation between manav-shravani and though ArMan divorce happened the love between ArMan united them...in archu-manav-shravani scenario their was no physical connection between manav-shravani and manav-archu...but still ArMan united after manav keeping sindoor and mangalsutra to shravani...

now it is the same situation...there is no physical relation between Arjun-Ovi and lil bit physical between arjun-purvi...as long as they don't show physical relationship between arjun-ovi there is no future for this marraige...purvi can take-over anythime...i have very low hopes on arjun-ovi relationship...and as we know for DK it doesn't matter at all who is the bahu of the home, he will just say we should support the galthi/jaldbazi of kids...and archu mahaan always wants purvi to get rich daamaad like arjun...it is very easy for ArMan to accept arjun-purvi marraige...

ovi is just katputhli...

CVs want to portray this ovi character as bad as they can...the eyelocking and dancing of arjun-purvi is ok, but ovi asking question to arjun is bad...it was very known thing that purvi sold arjun for archu's happiness...purvi is just playing with ovi's feelings...purvi is not letting arjun to move-on...

archu character age

the show started with 27 year old archu
then her wedding things 6 months
then arman divorce 1 year
then archu going for education 1 year
then high drama 2nd arman wedding and savita not accepting archu and mental trauma and then arman losing first kid and manav going for hunt and he becoming big man almost 2-3 year story
then story took 4 year leap

archu age is 36.5 years

then soham case and chawls case twins and twins birthday makes it 3 years

archu age is 39.5...no wnder when she said she can not handle 4 kids at almost 40...

then 18 years seperation and almost 10 months now

which makes archu 58+...she is longtime back gone thru menopause...

and punni was 5 years old when introduces and PR storyline is almost 30 year, which makes punni 35 and still not married...

I absolutely agree with your part @green. This show with it's mixed ideas about marriage and the likes.

Dharmesh - Vaishali is so ridiculous by sending Madhuri away. Ultimately, heroines win the cake in this show, especially those who fall in love :P Vaishali was shown to date Dharmesh and slowly fall in love with him before their marriage. I guess, that is pure "love" whereas bichari Madhuri ka pyaar kuch bhi nahi. No married couple in this show has kept sanctity of marriage.

Archana and Manav are the biggest examples of how marriage can be played as a game and communication and understanding are not needed when "love" and "romance" come in the way.

Damo insulting Savita in front of grand kids and poking jokes at her and no concern for her safety after spending their whole life together.

Mano leaving the house and Sulo alone, without telling her anything, showing complete disregard for his wife by keeping his problems in the forefront.

Ajit and his domestic violence with Vandu, after improving, again going back to being original villain.

Varsha with no sense of respect for husband, aborting the child without even consulting him and then finally abandoning him and running away.

Vinod and Manju and their blissless marriage with Manju never being happy with Vinod or making efforts to make it work and vinod being blind to Manju's needs and again only sitting with maa ka pallu all his life. And then ultimately joru ka ghulam and then back to flipping over sulo's side.

Even DK and Ashna in the beginning where DK had no sense of marriage and looked at work as his wife. Poor ashna used to feel neglected and unloved, until ARMAN had to make it work for them.

No healthy married life shown at all. After this, how do you expect Arjun and Ovi to be sensible home makers and a healthy relationship of husband and wife? :P No prior examples for them to follow only!

But I don't agree with the part @blue

Purvi needn't make Arjun-Ovi's marriage work. She handed him over and her responsibility is done with. She finally has a chance to live happily with her family and she is the one out of Arjun and her who is making serious efforts to move on and be happy. She stays away from him, she doesn't dream out sequences of them together nor does she try and get a glimpse of him anywhere. He comes and talks to her, she still scurries away. Why should she move out of town to make sure Arjun forgets her. It is his responsibility completely to try and erase all these dreams he has and his love and all that. A marriage doesn't work when other people make it easier, it should work when the two people involved make it work. Ovi is doing her bit, it is Arjun who can;t let go. And for that, he and Ovi should move out of town. Archana is a mahaan character and she left town because somewhere it was unbearable for her to see Manav and shravani together, plus she likes to be the sant that she is, so for Shravani who is nothing to her, she left town. Purvi, clearly can easily seem to bear Ovi and him and sometimes she has these tears or whatever, but I guess as long as she doesn;t show them to Arjun to let him see how distressing this is to her, she isn;t exactly doing anthing to ruin his marriage, Technically, she doesn't even try to talk to Arjun herself. The poor puppy needs to stop wagging his tail behind her and move on to his lovely self involved but beautiful wife like Manav did :P hahaha

Kools, great commentary as usual. I am actually glad the episodes are getting more dhamakedaar because it gives me a lot to look forward to in your commentary. :P I hope they keep showing more ridiculous things, because it only adds to your sarcasm and humor on the commentary which is my laughter dose for the day :)

So true, new damaad, and introduction to the family has been nothing short of histrionics. Pehle, become a mechanic, so Archu can see if he has Manav;s qualities, live in a chawl and learn to live life chawl size, then be dumped on wedding night by lover, suhaag raat mein find out that your new wife was the orginal mastermind of this chakravyuh wedding he was stuck in, reception night find out that grandma-in-law was evil and also did illegal things and brother-in-law was the one separating his own parents. Finally, realize that he has a mausi-in-law who ran away years ago with his other brother-in-law and now she is caught and finally he will get shocker of his life when the man who put bullets in his legs will turn out to be the dada he has to stick it out with rest of his life. ahhahaahhaahhaah

Poor Prince Arjun, must be wishing he never left foreign land for these Indian dramas with their penchant for sanskaars (Sulo), bhashans (Archana) and mahaanta (Purvi) :P

Sulo almost was getting to an AA today, what with her shouting and bellowing and hands on chest. Glad she let the drama off today. She knows she has a lot more coming in the next few weeks. Saving it for more opportune moments I guess.

Again they flip flopped about the real reason of Manav-Archana being Soham and varsha. I think, they blame people on convenience. Poor Savita, helpless looked on at this mess her great son and daughter -in -law had made. Only, if they had a strong marriage bond, Soham would never have been gone in the first place and Savita would never need to be the villain. All boils down to our romantic duo. :P

All in all, loved the episode. waiting for Punni and Ovi to create more tamasha on the ARVI track. Cannot simply wait to see Soham lala handing it down cold and cruel to his super great bio parents. I really wish some interesting plots revolve around Soham's truth now!

i agree , Purvi gives no encouragement to Arjun . Not till now . Its Arjun who runs after her .

More drama, crocodile tears by Maa and Aaji Sulo, convinient Asthma attack...

I was disgusted the way Sulo talked to Varsha today..Does she realize how she is siding with Archu and never gave a damn abt Varsha her whole life...Who wants to be compared to an uneducated "sanskari " ❓sister Archana..Not only Varsha has had to go thru that constant comparison but so did Manju...By writing this I am not taking away what Varsha has done in kidnapping...But when you have a mother like Sulo I would be damaged child too...No one can be Archana and She can't do no wrong..Sulo has not only damaged Varsha by putting her down but Archana too by putting her up on the pedestal which is so fake and non existing..

Any one noticed DK's statement abt someone being possessive in thinking they have right to something which does not belong to them...He was taking abt Soham-Varsha and ArMan but it was also something hinted for viewers to believe it applied to Ovi too..

Ovi has all the right to be suspecious as Arjun-Purvi were the ones to find Varsha at the mall...Especially why Arjun kept telling Ovi not to go and he will pick it up himself..Ovi was not tired or was at D or K place and involved in all the hungama...She could have gone to the mall to pick up that necklace...

I do agree with Masti that Arjun is much more of accepting his marriage to Ovi..

More later if and when my brain starts functioning again I will post more as I know I am missing couple of points I wanted to make but right now Its gone POOOF 😆

BTW Archana looked beautiful and doing really well 😭 😭 😆
