Chapter 12

ArVi were sleeping next to each other he whole night. And then Arjun's phone rang, he answered it.
Arjun: Hello?
Doctor: Mr. Kirloskar, is Purvi conscious yet?
Arjun: No, doctor. It's been 10 hours now, but she still hasn't woken up yet.
Doctor: Don't worry. The injection stays on for a maximum of 16 hours. So, it's fine if she doesn't wake up for another 6 hours. But if she doesn't then I might have to come and check her again.
Arjun: Okay. Doctor, is it okay if she eats?
Doctor: Sure, but just make sure that its something like soup. Okay?
Arjun: Thank you, doctor
Arjun then bends down, and removes the hair from Purvi's face.
Arjun: I promise, Purvi, I won't let anything happen to you, or our baby.
He stands up and goes to his computer, and starts working. After 1 hour, Purvi is starting to gain consciousness. Arjun notices this, And immediately runs downstairs.
Purvi wakes up, and is trying to remember everything that had happened in the past couple of hours. She looks around and finds a picture of her and Arjun on the nightstand. She picks it up, and starts crying.
Just then, Arjun comes back holding a tray of water, her medicines, and a bowl of soup.
Arjun: Purvi! How are you? Are you feeling weak? Don't worry, just eat this, and you'll be all better.
Purvi: Arjun, how can you act that nothing has happened? How could you do this? Tell me, I need answers.
Arjun: You are asking me? You tell me Purvi, how could you do this to me? How could you not tell me about this? This baby's not only yours, but mine. Not only were you going to take the right of living with my baby, but you didn't even tell me. I thank Ovi, Teju and Sachin for telling me, otherwise I would have not known about it.
Purvi: What? Ovi, Teju and Sachin told you this? But how? I promised them not to.
Arjun: Exactly, why not? Why did you not want me to know? I am the father of this child? Don't I at least have the right to know about my own baby? And they didn't break their promise, I found the reports in your wardrobe. When I was looking for a file for office in your room.
Purvi: But what about Ovi?
Arjun: Do you really think that I would do this to Ovi? Ovi herself came upto me and said that I should marry you.
He tells Purvi everything.
Arjun: Purvi, you tell me whether what I did was right or wrong? Look at it from my perspective, and you will know exactly why I did this.
Purvi: Arjun, but still.
Arjun: but what? You know what, right now, you need to eat. You are really weak. And you need to have your medicines. Come on, eat. He sat down next to her.
Purvi: I don't want to eat.
Arjun: Please, Purvi, I promise I will do everything you want me to do, but please eat.
Purvi: No, I don't want to eat.
Arjun: if not for yourself, eat for our baby. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday. Please for our baby?
Purvi tried to extend her arm, to get the spoon, but her hands were still numb from the injection.
Arjun realizing this, takes the spoon and puts it in front of Purvi. She eats and then takes her medicines.
Arjun: Thank you. You need to rest now.
Purvi says that she's fine.
Arjun pretends to yell at her, she in turn, scared goes to sleep.
Arjun walks out of the room, and turns, and looks at Purvi
Arjun: I am sorry for yelling at you. But this is for your own good.
He leaves.

Precap: Ovi is taking to Purvi in Arjun's room.

Ok guys, I know that I haven't updated in a week. I am really sorry, but homework is my first priority and it kills me. Anyways, I just want you to know there will be 2 updates today, extra long ones to make up for the days that I have lost. Anyways, I know for a fact that many of you don't like Ovi, so the Ovi part I will be summarizing for you, and anyways in this FF even if she is nice, it doesn't change the fact that she's a psycho, selfish, annoying, manipulative girl. The updates will be up in a little while. Enjoy!

Chapter 13
The next day... Purvi woke up to find Arjun sleeping on the recliner and the TV on. She stood up, turned the TV off and covered Arjun up with a blanket. And then went to go and take a shower. She later came out and was wearing a cute blue Salwar suit. She went downstairs to explore her new home and to get something to eat.
A little while later Arjun woke up. On not finding Purvi in her bed, he got scared and ran downstairs. He found her in the kitchen making breakfast, he heaved a sigh, and went up to her.
Arjun: Purvi, what are you doing?
Purvi: Making breakfast, I am really hungry.
Arjun: Well, you could have just told the chef to make it for you. You are not allowed to work.
Purvi: But why not? Trust me, I am fine.
Arjun: No, you are not.
Purvi: How do you know?
Arjun: Because I said so. He holds her arm and pulls her close to him, and they get lost in each others' eyes. A little while later, Purvi realizing what she was doing, broke the eye lock and went upstairs.
Arjun smiled at himself and told the chef to make some nice breakfast.
He then took the breakfast to Purvi, and after she was done, put everything back the way it was supposed to be. Purvi asked if she could help, but she wasn't allowed to get up from her bed.
Arjun got a phone call, and he got mad.
Purvi: What happened?
Arjun: The meeting scheduled for next week has been put up early for today because the client has to leave tomorrow night.
Purvi: So? Go and attend your meeting
Arjun: what about you?
Purvi: Me? I will take care of myself and anyways your meeting is much more important. Please go!
Arjun: But...
Purvi: Go!
Arjun: Fine, but I won't be gone for more than 5 hours.
He went and got ready and left.
As soon as he left, Purvi got lost in her world. And started crying. A little while later, Ovi walked in to Purvi's room and saw her crying. Purvi in turn quickly wiped her tears.
Ovi: Don't you dare do that.
Purvi: Ovi! What are you doing here?
Ovi: Don't try to change the topic, I know you were crying. Why were you crying? You have got Arjun, your love, your life, your Arjun?
Purvi: What about you though? Don't you love Arjun?
Ovi: I did! But now I have realized that love means to see the person you love happy. When Arjun was with me, there was never a time when I thought that he was happy. Neither were you. I had thought that l would be create love in Arjun's heart for me. But I was wrong, love only happens once, and that had already happened to him.
Ovi further explained to which Purvi argued. After a ton of explaining, arguing, and yelling Purvi finally understood.
Ovi: Purvi, I know how you are feeling right now, and as for a matter of fact you cannot deny the fact that you love Arjun. And the biggest proof of that is this baby that is growing inside of you which is of Arjun's. if you didn't love him, you wouldn't have kept this baby, in the first place. Anyways, I wasn't here for this, I came to inform you that I am going back to Canada.
Purvi: But why?
Ovi: I just got a modelling project and its huge and I don't want to waste opportunity. It's a 6 months contract, so hopefully I will be back in time to see my niece or nephew.
Purvi: But you can't stay in Canada all by yourself
Ovi: I know, that's why Aaji and grandpa are coming with me. Oh! What am I doing, I need to finish packing. My flight is tomorrow morning. And also, you and Arjun have to come to drop me off.
Purvi: But Ovi...
Ovi: No ifs or buts, I want you guys there and that's final. And don't worry I have told Arjun about this, this morning I called him to ask about you and told him that I was leaving. He tried to convince me, but I guess he forgot that I am Ovi. Stubborn, independent, not listening to anyone Ovi. She smiled at Purvi and bent down.
Ovi: Purvi please give Arjun a chance, I have seen him yearn for your love, don't do this to him. He's incomplete without you. Promise me, when I come back from Canada, I will see Arjun and Purvi as one, as the way you used to be. She held her hand out to her and Purvi put her hand on hers, and smiled in assurance.
Ovi: Good! Ok now I need to go, bye!
Purvi: Bye! See you tomorrow!
Purvi smiled at herself, and then realized that there was no one in the house except for her. That meant that no Arjun to tell her what to do. She stood up and looked around, she saw that everything was neatly organized. She went and sat on the couch. And found a lot of movies in the drawer right next to it. She looked through the drawer for a while but the only thing she found were action movies. Then she finally found her favorite movie, "I hate Luv Stories" she put it on, and just then Arjun walked in.
Arjun: What are you doing?
Purvi: Watching a movie
Arjun: I told you to rest right?
Purvi paused the movie and said: Yea you did, but I was getting bored so I looked for a movie. Oh, by the way, you have an absolutely worst movie collection
Arjun: No I don't all my movies are amazing.
Purvi: Yes they are amazing, amazing to be thrown out.
Arjun: Oh really? All your movies are so amazingly stupid. Half the time they don't even make sense.
Purvi: well, don't ruin my mood. She turned the movie back on and Arjun got mad. She ignored him. After changing, Arjun came out, and Purvi asked him to join her. Arjun didn't want to watch the movie but he wasn't going to turn down the chance of watching a movie with Purvi. Later Arjun started developing interest for the movie and watched it intently.
