Purvi is in a Beauty Parlor. Talking on phone.
Sulo asks her to get ready fast.
But her answer is 'I would finish up fast and come Aai'. So she could be talking to her mother on phone.

Purvi is happy and ready to get married. Take a note of the forehead and also the side parting of the hair.

Girl Arjun is marrying from the side, does look like Purvi

Forehead looks like Ovi's, very different from the forehead of Purvi in the above pic.
This girl also seems to have side parting of the hair as well. Not very clear in the pic, but does look like it in the video. Bumpy forehead is Ovi's. Purvi's forehead is flatter. And definitely not Punni.

Archana is in the same saree she wore for DK's party. But she has a tear in the eye. This shot might have been taken the day they shot the DK's party episode, but in that episode she did not cry with this kind of expression, I believe. So, they got this expression from her just for the promo.

Manav's face is also more confused and sad than of shock

Arjun is going through the wedding knowing fully well whom he is marrying. He is sad but not shocked.

From the promo I believe the girl is Purvi. It doesnt look like anyone else at all ..

Plus the archana still is like you said from the party and manav's doesnt look like its from the wedding- it looks more like a mall or something- as if he's seen Varsha or Soham :o

Manav's background has a lady with heavy jewelry. Plus festive decorations.

So, it cannot be a mall. It is some function. But this expression of Manav could also be from Purvi-Vinay's engagement ceremony. Then also there was so much of drama that happened.

In the varmala exchange clip, the girl definitely looks like Purvi. High cheek bone, just like Purvi's.

They could have placed Ovi's forehead clip to mislead too.

If its Ovi at the mandap i dnt think that Arjun will go ahead with it.Remember he never put the sindoor on the woman's forehead.He was abt to but stopped.Maybe Purvi told him abt her sacrifice/something else that compelled him to marry Ovi as the emotionless expressions in the promo.He never put the sindoor on he stopped at the last moment.Maybe when he realise that he cant go thru with it he will back out and by then everyone will see the bride's face and know the truth.

Dear bee,

It is not that I have not tried to stick to the Purvi is still the bride line myself. It just did not work, as I have noted in some detail above.

But let us assume that it IS Purvi. Let us also overlook the shots of Archana and Manav. Please explain just one thing to me.

Why does Arjun look like death warmed up if he is still marrying Purvi? Please don't offer the "touch me not" explanation, for that is just not on.

Any valid theory has to explain most, if not all of the facts, and the KEY fact here is the way Arjun looks all thru the promo. One cannot cling to dubious physical evidence (and in PR, physical evidence is very dubious - remember the twin sarees?), and brush aside a cold, hard, undeniable and very large fact.
