That's nice, but it's really THE time Ankita move on to better things now...people want her to look old with grey hair and probably some wrinkles on the face, but no matter how hard they try to make her look old...she still manages to look younger than her supposed "sons and daughters" 😆, cause she is not 50 but 25...and how dare she look her age? 😡 Doesn't she know that a 50 year old is not supposed to look pretty and wear nice clothes?! I mean sure it's not the first time a younger actress is playing an older role than what her real age might be and doesn't looks the part 😆 but hell Ankita should be the exception and must look old...so what, if she plays her part well and lives her character...SCREW THAT! the point is she must look OLD! 😡

I agree she doesn't look 50 and it's funny to even see her playing mother of people her or more than her age...and make-up is clearly more important than acting abilities and she fails there..so she should quit and they should bring in a new 50 year looking actress...then who cares if she can't act to save her life...the MAKE-UP should be right, cause make-up is such an issue! 🤓

why is only Archana look questioned? :S Why not Manav who doesn't dress up or gets make-up like 50+ dad nor acts like one! Not even Savita and Sulochana dress up like 70 +!

This show is joke when it comes to character to dress up or act according to age. infact in television no one dresses up or gets make up like that expect for Varun who had make-up o of 50 +! Only he had guts to do to that risk like that now a days none of actor does in Indian television.

Make-up or dressing is no such issue because in Indian television serious issue like cancer is made fun by curing in couple of days so this is nothing.

Not to forgot Varsha who looks like sister of Bishnu. 😆 Another one, Vandu.

Oh so it is 850 episodes huh ? .. Guess it would touch 1000 soon ...

Well, personally , I would love it if Ankita moves on to other shows .. but keeping that aside :

Kudos to Ankita for enacting the role of a 50 year old so well . And I hope she pampers herself and looks every bit of the gorgeous 27 year old that she is but splurging on designer wear , make up and accessories 😎 ...

Sushant and Ankita along with the veteran marathi actors and others from the "older gen" cast gave life to the show , brought it to great heights , gave it the kind of trps which the show has never been able to replicate again and made the characters a household name ...

And vice versa .. this show opened new avenues for a lot of them : esp for sushant and ankita ... for starters JDJ..

(Which got the some people in the film industry to notice sushant and now he is all set to enter an exciting new phase in his career ...)

Probably the most exciting phase for the show , in terms of trps and buzz was the time these two participated in JDJ ... it proved to be beneficial in a way to both PR are JDJ .. by having Sushita compete with ArMan two days a week ...

And like someone said to me the other day, Ankita has outgrown the show in a way ...

( Rithvik paid her a compliment recently by saying she is a brand today ...)

She has that personality which sets her apart from the crowd ( I remember tanya di saying once that even if she was a salesgirl in a mall , she would have stood out , she has that star quality) ..

And lol ... like niki told me the other day .. she is a bit of a spitfire ...

And thats why she approaches the role with same enthusiasm like before ...

Like I said before .. a lot has changed for her in the past year or so in her professional space ... sushant and most of her friend circle whom she was close to left, she had to play mom to five people who are around her own age , and now there are new couples across channels who are the "IT couple" now ... who dance in award shows , the part of which ankita-sushant were a year ago ..

I am sure she feels the pinch when she sees their dance performances on stage , I am sure she misses her old friends on sets when she sees the newer cast hanging out together , I am sure she isnt exactly thrilled with playing a 50 year old ...

But she plays it with the same commitment and dedication . She is a livewire on the sets .. instead of locking herself up in the vanity van and cribbing for more screen space she mingles with everyone from the newer cast ... instead of giving hiten a hard time (like some lead actresses have done in the past) she has heartily welcomed him .

Okay , so I guess this post was a bit of an ankita gush fest , . but I dont intend to say that others havent done anything in the show at all ...

Of course ... everyone ... right from the veterans like usha ji to the current cast are hardworking and a dedicated bunch ... be it rithvik who is juggling long hours for JDJ and PR and giving his best or girls like asha, shruti etc .. who have come up from small towns and struggled to reach where they are ...

But I can completely understand why Meghana singles out Ankita ..

Because she totally deserves that little bit of an extra praise , and a special mention.

Absolutely well deserved and kudos to Anki 👍🏼.👏The creative heads of PR and also channel heads know the hard work put in by Sushita and the entire crew..

I am also waiting for her to move on soon...Hope Anki now decides to move on very soon..waiting to see her in a challenging role that suits her age soon..😊

With all the crappy storylines ditched viewers till saw the show before leap mainly for Sushita with their brilliant performances and their on/off screen chemistry.

They really took the onus of competing with lot of shows including KBC,IPL and still kept the TRP's so unbelievably high.They were well supported by veterans like Usha ji and many others which made it worth-while watch the show in-spite of the crap ditched.

Once Sush quit lot of fans quit the show...New set of fans came due to the new generation but still majority of old fans are watching still just for Ankita/Archu to see how her story is progressing.Viewers relate to Archu so much that all want to know when will Archu get her happiness back.Majority of viewers want to see Arman back together. They want to see Archu happy with her kids.Viewers relate to ARchu's pain and they want to her happy united with her kids n husband.Ankita and Sushant through her roles of Archu n Manav have touched audience hearts immensely and when Sush quit,onus feel on Anki as the expectation was immense to carry on and Hiten has perfectly supported her(Anki has reciprocated by creating a fun filled ,friendly atmosphere for Hiten to work in ) with the role of Manav post leap and with good support from the current and old set of actors.

Anki truly deserves this credit for sticking up this show and having the guts to portray the role of 50+ year old mother of 5 children (double her age which is not at all easy) and portraying it so convincingly and still making viewers interested in this show.

The PR head rightly gave the credit to Ankita and truly deserves it.The current generation actors like RD,Asha,Shruthi,Puru,Mrilani and the veteran actors equally deserve the credit but Anki gets that extra credit for taking that onus on her and give her best day in and day out.RD and Asha have rated her performances to the highest level and RD has also mentioned the legacy Sush has left behind with the role of Manav..

No wonder she has been consistently getting the best actress awards in all the awards functions for the past three years..She and Sush must have a show-case full of their awards now..I have lost count of the awards they have won and their chemistry on/off was the very reason Zee was unbeatable for the past 3 years.

To sustain that interest even after Sush quit is something hard to deal with and Anki has brilliantly done her job with the able support of Hiten n younger bunch of actors.

Sush would be so proud of Anki at the moment 👏

really itz been really sweet of ankita. it was so difficult to watch pr after sush left .bt itz for anki only fans r watching pr.shez doing exellent job.pr cnt run without ankita!!! really wish to do different dan archana n im sure she'll rock in dat too.

Ankita deserves a great deal of the credit for the success of PR. Good to see that acknowledged. She has stuck on with positivity and is giving her best. That is why she is so loved by her fans. All the very best to her!

Any show is successful bcos of team effort. The whole cast and crew work together and make the show a success. The credit goes to all of them, and it is the same in case of PR- where the supporting characters are also very popular.

Having said that, I totally understand why the creative head is praising and thanking Ankita so much and I appreciate it a lot. Ankita DESERVES every bit of the praise and thanks. When Sushant quit, everyone expected Ankita to quit too, and understandably too, for we have seen actresses who have done old roles not getting young roles later. Plus Sushant is Ankita's BF. Sushant Ankita walking out at the same time would have been DISASTEROUS for the show- the audience connect with the show would have been totally lost. They would have felt it is some different show going on, cos Archana and Manav are what PR is all about and people identify with Ankita as Archana and used to identify Sushant as Manav, if both had changed together suddenly then it would have become difficult for the rest of the supporting cast and even a good storyline to get the audience to even watch the show ahead the show, simply cos people would have lost interest- they associate PR with ArMan, not the supporting characters (their kids weren't grown up at that time). And I need not elaborate on the fact of how Ankita Sushant quitting together would have affected the morale of those associated with the show- they would have given up even without trying. There would have been no effort to think of the story ahead.

Ankita staying on the show meant that the show managed to salvage some of its former appeal- cos people still saw Archana in the show even if Manav had quit, they could still associate to the show- the audience then later on gradually accepted Hiten as Manav and came back when they noticed that the story ahead had potential, that Arvi track was interesting, that the show was getting better and so on (personally though I think it sucks, but that is another topic).

All the actors have worked hard, the new and old ones included and they all deserve a pat on their back. Post leap Arvi and the return of Soham are important contributors to the show doing well. But if Ankita had not stayed on at that crucial moment and both Sushant and Ankita had quit together, then the show might not have even LIMPED through till the leap. The question is not about how good of an actor she is or how much makeup she does or how much popular she is- the fact if that Manav and Archana are the FACE of the show, makeup or no makeup. ARMAN are the face of the show. If Sushita had quit together, it would have been difficult for the audience to get used to a new Archana and a new Manav so suddenly, especially since they are present in most of the scenes.

Congrats to the whole PR team for this success, well done all of you! Sushant always wanted the show to do very well even without him, he must be happy and proud of Ankita, and for being there in 'their pvr', as he used to say.

I hope PR wraps up with a logical ending or Ankita quits the show, after all, it is doing well now anyway. I miss seeing her on TV, and I want to see her in a young role now.

Thanks for sharing. Ankita deserves it. It was very difficult for her to continue PR without Sushant. But she continued PR with same dedication. and yes now I want her to move on and do something new. we r proud of u Ankita

@blue: This is what I have appreciated about Anki ever since Hiten entered PR! She didn't act difficult about someone replacing Sushant, I too know of actresses who have given a hard time to the replacement actors when the one who quit was a close friend/BF, or fighting for screen space. Ankita gelled well with Hiten and today they are good friends! Somewhere I feel sad that even for this she is not appreciated. Oh well, each to his own. For me, Anki rocks!👏

Despite being an ardent ARVIan...as I said we are all UNITED now...and I will have to agree with this wholeheartedly. Ankita Lokhande is a phenomenal actress...there is no doubt about it...and if she had left the show along with Sushant Pavitra Rishta would not have survived. That is very clear. Rithvik and Asha are amazing and brought a whole new freshness to the show with their chemistry that is also contributing highly to the show's success. I strongly believe that they are keeping the show going for now to offset the frustration and immense dissatisfaction with the separation of Archana and Manav. I used to watch PR off and on before the leap...I watched off and on before...and started watching regularly after ARMAN reunited. I loved seeing the cute scenes of Sushant/Ankita...they were fantastic...and it was a pleasure to see Manav rise to a top position with DK. When Savita realized her mistake and became very nice...I loved her graciousness when Manav/Archana brought Sulo home after Vinod/Manju kicked her out onto the streets. I also loved when Dharmesh tried to destroy Manav and was made an utter fool out of. 😆 At that time, PR truly was a pleasure to watch. Things started going sour for me with Savita being influenced by Rasika and turning bad again, Dharmesh and Savita teaming up to create havoc for ARMAN, Varsha going crazy regarding Soham, and the ARMAN MU track starting. I remember watching Varsha get slapped by Dharmesh in front of Rasika, Ajit, and Manju and getting locked in a room too...ridiculous. If not for the leap and ARVI I would never have continued watching the show. Aside from the point I made above of Ankita keeping PR afloat...I also say all this because this is what I wish the CVs would realize. During the Golden time I described above...PR was a pleasure to watch and I just loved and enjoyed it. Seeing Sushant/Ankita in love, having their 2 boys, watching Sushant get into a nice position, saving Sulo, having a nice Savita at home...was just wonderful. And Im damn sure the TRPs were also high during this point. This is what makes viewers want to watch the show. Not misunderstandings, torture, negativity etc. Truly. Once Savita turned evil, the Chawl misunderstanding started, and the Soham/Varsha disappearance happened I lost the heart to watch. Until ARVI. I just wish the Creatives would realize that the theory that negativity, torture, separation and misunderstandings drive the show is ridiculous and false. Viewers love to see a young, happy lovely couple in love and watch them go through life. Its the truth. We are getting to see this in ARVI...we got to see them get attracted to each other, fall in love, and find a way to overcome their obstacles together. I hope to god the CVs dont mess this one up too.
