Archana's indifference toward Ovi - Page 2

Yes Dabulls23, I love your post too. You hit the nail on the head when it comes to Archana. The whole challenge for Arjun was so stupid and fake. He simply works in a garage for 1 month and now he is back to his Ash aur Aaaram lifestyle. Not only that, but as a reward his dad DK has started a new company for him to run. So what has he really done to earn Archana's respect? Give me a break! He knew all along, once he earns the measly 10,000 rupees, he can go back to his Ash aur Aaraam zindagi, and he will have Purvi along for the ride. Both Purvi and Archana act like they don't care for money, etc but yet they always end up with guys that have money. If she didn't care for money so much, why didn't she marry that guy who came as rishtha for her from her office. She knew he was just a middle class guy, and she didn't want to give up her future for him. Big deal if his mom asked how much she earned. Don't most indian parents ask the Guy's family how much he earns, and his status, etc. So what's wrong in if the guy's mother wanted Purvi to work and earn money. The way Archana blasted that family in front of a room full of people in honor of Purvi, she never stood up like that for Ovi. All she has done, is cry a few crocodile tears and keep telling Ovi to understand. Understand what, that the guy she has loved since childhood, she should just give up on. One who committed to her in front of her family and friends, and then just on the turn of a dime decides he doesn't wish to marry her and is in love with Purvi instead. What, all of a sudden Arjun has had this big revelation by coming to India and meeting the Maahaan Purvi.

Bhalla, Manav is a jhoru ka ghulam in disguise and a mamma's boy, no wonder the poor guy is unhappy, he cannot please his mom and cannot please his wife. It is like being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Archana wanted to help Ovi. But she is not ready to listen or accept Archu's help or comfort.

Okay I get that Arjun-Purvi are in love, but try to see it in Ovi's perspective. When a girl's heart breaks, it's healthy for her to vent out and hate the other woman (for a while). After a while, everything turns to normalcy. How can anyone expect Ovi to go back to her old self when Arjun-Purvi are brought up constantly. Be it news of their engagement, wedding date, etc. Not only that, members of her own family members are all in support. It's a do brainer that Ovi would feel abandoned and go in a psychotic state. What was the need for such haste in Purvi-Arjun's marriage? Not only that, Sulochona had the nerves to invite her family. Yeah no family member of a girl whose engagement recently broke would even think about going. It's no wonder Ovi's harbouring all these negative emotions. She needs a break from hearing about the two lovebirds...she, teju, manav, sachin should pack up and leave and not look back. If Manav does decide to go back to Archana, Ovi-Teju will me merely a side-thought.

It's funny how some people blame Ovi's reaction to Archana. Ovi's been dealing with issues of neglectmen, no one in her shoes would melt at a mere gesture of affection. She doesn't want to be hurt again so it's a defensive mechanism. if she starts loving her mother, she might get hurt. Also, Archana blatantly put on a show that she's divorcing for money (for Sachin's sake) so what is Ovi suppose to think? How can she let go of that wall and embrace someone who portrays themselve to be after the money and not caring about their daughter for 18 years. In archana's defence, she might care about her daughters but to Ovi, it doesn't look like that because of first hand experiences.

Archu did pointed out to Manav that he is the only person who can bring OVi out of this situation.

Just stopping Arjun-Purvi marriage is not going to help Ovi. But that is thing Ovi wants to do. Ovi wants to marry a guy who is in love with someone else.

What will be Ovi's reaction if Arjun is in love with someone other than Purvi? She can't blame Archu for that. Same here. Ovi is not ready to listen to anyone. she wants everything to happen according to her own wish.

I think somehow that will be 100% better. Ovi will not constantly have to get every update on the two lovebirds and eventually move on. It helps to villianize the other woman in one's mind and vent when the stimuli is far away. after a while, everything gets back to normal and everyone realizes that they were over-eggagerating on their negative viewpoints. But in this situation, Ovi has constantly listen to praises of Purvi (who is supposedly her enemy) from her very own family member. How in the world can someone expect her to move on? Even worse, the mother who she feels abandoned by is giving love and affection to the other woman (in ovi's mind) You can bet ovi will experience envy and even go in the brinks of madness.

Actually Archana tried and tried to get attach to her daughters when she come to know abt her daughters...

She even couldnt resist herself seeing her happy face when Arjun ovi engagement was on...even though ovi said not to come there...
She even took Ovi madam nakhra ...when she didnt knew how to behave with elders...
She tried to find out how is the third person in Arjun's life...who called Ovi abt Purvi...was concerned and told purvi to find out...
When she came to know purvi is the other person in Arjun's life...she blasted purvi left and right...although she wasnt the person who was guilty...She distanced herself from pruvi, cos she did was the cause of Ovi's sorrow...

Now that everything is clear and Both Arjun and purvi love each other and want to be with each other...how does it depicts Archana dont care for ovi...

Archana rightly said to Manav, Ovi needs to move on ...and she cant help ovi in the same...
18 yrs of hatred is much period to make an impression on anyone's mind...Archana was unable to erase this cos of Arjun-Purvis case...
If this would not have happen May be Ovi would have started liking Archana...

Why is it If archana took purvi's side makes her bad mother to ovi...
Should she leave her support to puri, coz she is adopted and she should support ovi...who has everyone for her support but purvi has only archana and aaji...

Actually archana should keep herself away from ovi...its only creating more and more trouble for herself and ovi...

How much she showers her love on ovi teju, it wont work...coz 18 yrs of hatred carried more weightage over 3 months of love
