What happened to Dharmesh and Ajit? I didn't watch for awhile around the first short leap...

Unfortunately the actors playing Dharmesh n Ajit have quit the show owing to the 18 year long leap.Hence we dont see them as part of the storyline.

I am not sure if Ekta/CV's will ever bring back Dharmesh/Ajit characters (new actors in this role/or old one for few epis brought back) or may be @ the end bring in for one epi..Only Ekta maata knows!!!!

So technically, they are both still alive even though they aren't mentioned? Did Ajit remain a positive character and Dharmesh still negative when they last showed them?

Yes technically they are still alive. Currently as per the storyline, I think Dharmesh is on a foreign business tour and Ajit is supposedly I guess living in Nagpur or something not sure in Ajit's case.

Last time before the 18 year leap ,both Ajit n Dharmesh planned to screw up Manav's life and they were quite successful with lot of things happening and the 18 year old leap took place. In short Dharmesh remained negative and Ajit unfortunately turned negative again.

Last time I heard Dharmesh's name was when Vaishali said that he went on a business trip so she and Anikit could stay in Archana's home when Archu is living in the Karangar house for the divorse and after that I havn't heard his name I hope they dont come back before the 18 year leap I didn't watch PR very much when I saw a little it had Dharmesh and Ajit being mean
