OMG!!! I almost died laughing!!

OMG what was up with archanas hair today hahahaha dont get me wrong she is a beautiful person but i mean come on she is playing the mother of 20 plus year olds not a newlywed. I like how she was wearing contacts to distract us viewers from those blunt bangs she had...😆😆

I was a bit surprised when I saw her come out after Teju and Ovi. She looked like their sister, not their 50+ mom. 😆 No matter how much Ankita tries to play a old mom, she will always look like a newly-wed bride. 😉 One thing the CVs can't script! 😆I didn't really like the Audrey Hepburn bangs or the green contacts either. Neither meshed well with the entire Marathi look. 😕Wish she had to a Marathi look like the one at the ITA for the lavani:

Maybe its just me, but today I felt like she was trying hard to look young..she is young in real, but not so young in the show. Because the bangs make you appear 10 years younger than you actually are, and the contacts and the slightly overdone makeup..all in all not happy with Archana's look today. She is the central character but slightly more age appropriate dressing sense was expected of her , according to the character's age in the show. Ovi or Purvi having a fringe or bang on the hair is more acceptable ..😃

I think she would have looked much more beautiful without the fringes in front. Those fringes were not even that straight cut, which made it look worse :)

I've rarely ever liked Archanas get-up since the leap. Her make-up is often too gawdy, the foundation too white for her and her outfits are no good especially with the puffy sleeves she is often made to wear. The actress is drop dead gorgeous- possibly the best on telly- now if they only did justice to her beauty and kept things simple and sophisticated.

Today was just ridiculous. Couldn't have been more amused!

I didn't like Purvis Sari either. But I guess it's a good thing if it means Arjun won't get too distracted during dahi handi?

Yup, totally crazy hairstyle, like I wrote elsewhere, I had my finger on her forehead to mask that fringe while I watched the epi on my phone, totally out of place and unbecoming on a mother of 5 grown up children. What were the CVs thinking?? She is naturally so pretty she doesn't need the gawdy make up to make her look stunning.
Princessjojo, agree with you, I was disappointed with Purvi's simple sari and even more simple jewelry. Surely, she could have worn some of her mother's stuff? But you are right, Arjun does not need extra distractions :) even though just her face is sufficient to drive the boy crazy. Remember the day of her dance? He was so distracted even hours after that he rammed his car into Punni. We wouldn't want him to fall right into Ovi's lap while staring into Purvi's eyes, that crazy chit would start dreaming all kinds of impossible dreams, nah, would not do at all.

We're just expressing our views Kalpashree ! Which IS absolutely true. We never said that she looks ugly although you have to give it to the point that she looks VERY different without makeup. Yes, it could be the downside of working in daily soaps when you have long working hours but yeah, thats the truth.
