It is too late in the game for any explanations even if it is from DK, the situation has gone much further than that. Right now the priority should be to get Arjun out of this police mess. Only his dad can help him on that. If he is missing, then have to see what ms.purvi and the Mahaan lady do. Even after all that DK has done for Manav all these years, i dont expect that guy to lift a finger for Arjun. He probably will rejoice too. It should in reality remind him of his past, but i dont expect he will do so. To do that a person has to raise above his feelings which I dont think he is capable of.

@Tanya and Naava - I agree that DK should tell Archana and Manav about his role in the surprise engagement and how he told Arjun not to say anything till he returned. I don't really understand what this man is waiting for, a shubh maurat ? DK is a sensible character but after calling up Ovi and telling her that Arjun loved her (despite Arjun never mentioning Ovi to his Dad) just made me dislike DK a little. He created problems for his son and hasn't opened his mouth to tell of his doing. I still hold Arjun wrong for not trying to make things clear to Ovi before she landed in India. So what if she kept cutting your calls or something else popped in the way, he should've moved heaven and earth to tell her that he can't marry her.

Let us get into specifics please. How precisely is Archana going to get Arjun out of jail? She could not do it even if the charge were petty theft; she is not a lawyer, nor does she have money for a lawyer's fees. Even if she did have the money, I am pretty sure she would think that Arjun being jailed was a great vardaan from Bappa, and an answer to her prayers, for now there is no chance of his marrying Purvi.

This charge is, however, not one of petty theft; it is going to be either murder, kidnapping, or grievous assault not amounting to murder. All of these are non-bailable offences. Tackling them and getting Arjun off the hook in court will need a very good defence team, and plenty of money; not Purvi shedding tears from across the bars and making Arjun even more miserable, or Archana looking at him with her perennially droopy face, which is normally enough to give anyone a depression.

So, please let us not repeat this mantra of 'Archana the saviour of Arjun'. It is a non-starter if ever there was one. I respect everyone's right to her opinions, but this is not a matter of opinion, but of cold, hard fact.
