hey guys! so the past two eps have gotten me a bit confused and i just need a little clarification. i think i missed something somewhere. anyhow, i remember manav telling archana that he doesnt want to see her face and that he hates her the most among arjun n DK. i'm seeing this hatred when it comes to arjun and DK. but im sensing some mixed signals when it comes down to archana. i saw in yesterday's ep, he was really concerned when he heard archana had hurt her hand. also, in today's ep, he looked at her normal and was trying to stop savita from her usual ranting. what i wanna know is if manav found out that archana had not known about arvi's affair prior to that day? did he find out somewhere in the show? otherwise, y is he not showing some sort of hatred of dislike towards archana?

That misunderstanding has not cleared up yet. Manav still doesn't know that Archana found out about Purvi's and Arjun's relationship the same day. Teju knows though because Archana told her when Teju was bandaging her hand.

No, Manav doesn't know as yet that Archana didn't know about Arjun and Purvi until that very day that Manav himself found out. He is showing concern because he loves Archana and has always loved her and will always love her, no matter what, whether he believes she is after his money or that she is a cheat or that she has wronged his daughter, he loves her unconditionally (as does she, love him ie) - hence the title Pavitra Rishta 😆.

"Love is not love which alters when alteration finds... no, it is an ever fixed mark" such is the love that Archana and Manav share with each other and we hope to see the same kind of everlasting love between Arjun and Purvi. 😍

Archana never stood by Manav when he needed her the most - firstly at the time of the misinterpreted bordello photos, when she chose to believe the SAME dalal, hired by Ajit, who had convincingly made her out to be a call girl, complete with Rs.20,000/- in her purse. Was that everlasting love?

Or at the time of the chawl demolition, when she had so little faith in Manav that she believed he would have ordered the chawl demolished without any notice. What kind of everlasting love does that?

She trusted Varsha more than Manav and so deprived him of Soham, and she is surprised that he does not want to see her face after that. What kind of love is that?

And now, she creates a very ugly scene at Punni's engagement, and makes a mockery of his love for her , in order to prove her love to her 'son', who hates her guts. She does not mind sacrificing the happiness of Manav, Teju, Ovi and even Purvi for this distorted version of maternal love. What kind of love for Manav is that?

No amount of pretty quotations can camouflage the fact that what drives Archana is not 'everlasting love', it is an unbelievable degree of obsession with a self image as the ultimate mahaan tyaag murti. She can, in her own mind, do no wrong, and it is always the others who are wrong and have to be shown the light. Of course by Archana, who else?

Well, I devoutly hope that the love between Arjun and Pirvi is NOT like that between Archana and Manav. Any taint of that kind of 'everlasting love' would be a curse that would be too hard for them to bear, poor kids.

Did you really mean that in the literal sense? I would really not want that to be the same for ARVI...There is a huge difference between Armaan and Arvi in this regard...

ARMAAN: they have loved each other deeply which has lasted through all these years. They probably still do..During their younger years, they went through a lot, withstood lot of problems and have a deep abiding love for each other. BUT, their whole lives are riddled with miscommunication and misunderstandings. They have this "Mahaantha" halo around them, that they are very quick to sacrifice things at the expense of their love. Have they ever confronted each other on issues? NO...If you love somone, it is not good enough that you can and will sacrifice everything, you should be able to talk/yell, doesnt matter what, to each other about everything under the sun especially about things that will affect their lives ... They havent done that even at the crucial times of their lives..when they got separated for so long !!! Is their sacrifice worth the anguish they brought to everyone - especially their kids? Even now, after seeing the after effects of their actions, they are not standing up for one another.

ARVI: They are young, strong people who believe in getting what they want, especially Arjun. Yes, they too act foolish at times. and Yes, They have not been tested through time yet...But, atleast they are upfront with each other, either anger, love or upset. Look at Purvi, after the engagement, she just slapped Arjun to show her disappointment and rage with his actions. Would Archana ever do that to Manav in the same situation? Probably not..Arjun has pursued Purvi with a persistence despite her show of no-love, and disgust with him over past few weeks with a single mind...that is laudable.

I do hope and I do believe actually, that they will fare much better in life than Armaan have, in face of tribulations just for the sheer fact that, when it comes down to it, they are g-getters.

Shyamala, that was written tongue in cheek 😆. But despite all those things you listed, the foolish guy still loves his wife. And she still loves him in spite of being deserted for 18 years with not a thought as to whether she was dead or alive!! Hence the laugh emoticon!

Jyothi, I would never wish "identical" love on ARVI just the same kind of "everlasting" love! 🤣 I don't place too much trust in the CVs to make it any different than the ARMAN love story though, different twists perhaps but the same garden path mildly disguised for the new couple.
