i don' get it people love her when she shout at others for purvi and stand for her but when she says some thing to purvi they are like she is bad... what she did yesterday was totally correct wasn't it purvi's responsibility to tell her mom ... purvi had many chance to tell archana ... she could have tell after archana told her to find the girl b/w arjun and ovi... what do you expect from a mother who have defended her daughter a day before for the same reason , fought with her own daughters and the family ... just to save her ... wasn't it a moral responsibility of purvi to tell her mother about the issue... and why not worry about manav and ovi...they are an important part of her lives ... she had gone against ovi to protect purvi... wouldn''t she question her ... it is really sad that people just saw three slaps on purvi's face and didn't even saw the pain of archana and what she going through... she is a mother stuck b/w two daughters

As a mother, I can understand Archana's reaction to what she perceives as betrayal by Purvi . Getting hurt by loved ones brings out the strongest reactions . Archana actually witnessed Arjun-Purvi together, Sulochana didnt. And Ovi is also her daughter whose happiness is also important to her. It is not as though she abandoned Purvi for Ovi. Her reaction is totally human and justified.

Rash with all due respect dear...we don't disagree with her right to be angry for the reasons u mentioned. But in speaking for myself I am very hurt by her reaction for the following reasons:

1) the sheer violence of her reaction. Screaming continuousnslapping...and here is the biggest part...not even giving Purvi a chance to explain.

2) another thing that really got me all riled up was her only concern seemed to be for Ovi. In my case, I guess my irritation at her constant groveling and over attention to Ovi--despite her total lack of respect and terrible behavior (she spoke so rudely to her,,,,even before knowin Archana is her mother...and made her call her ma'am?? What's that all about?? Also, I didn't like the way Ovi spoke to her at the party either. Asking what she was doing there and how could she still have come despiter her, Ovi, telling her not to. Excuse me but if I were Archana I would point out to her, and especially that evil MIL Savita, that if it weren't for her these brats wouldnt have even been born and would not even be alive in the first place!!! So if anyone has a right to be at their birthday it's her---whether they like it or not!!!)

To get back to the point...for this selfish brat who hates her she hurt this poor child who loves her dearly. And we have put up with Archana's constant chatter about Ovi for the past 6 weeks...we have had to hear her constantly put poor Purvi through hell with the continuous crap about Ovi, her engagement, her wedding, and her love for Arjun. It's all been about her...and we've had to watch while Purvi went through all this silently...only to be pushed to breaking point by watching Archana slap her around so much...and again...because of Ovi. Ovi. Ovi.

3) however, all this aside...what hurt me the most was that one sentence Archana said. "She has ruined everything." because in that instant Archana was not thinking as a mother for her daughter: but only about herself and her own circumstance...which was truly sickening----like being punched in the gut.

Top this off by letting a young girl walk out in a torrential downpour in the middle of the night in Mumbai without even giving a damn because u r too busy worried about ur own life and the brat who doesn't even feel 1/10th the respect and feeling for u that Purvi does. Purvis expression when she walks out the door and the way she wipes her tears with the back of her hand...looking just like a terrified little girl...totally broke my heart. hence the reaction u are getting regarding Archana.

i totally disagree with you ... why everybody forgets that ovi is her daughter ... how much ovi hate her or does not respect her but mother will never think bad about her daughter or will stop worrying about her... archana wanted to spend some time with her daughters but she will now just take there hatred

Archana is totally justified in her reaction. Purvi had many chances to tell archana the truth as lately as the previous night after the party episode when archana came to console her.
She has every right to feel betrayed as ovi is also her daughter .
As for letting purvi go out on the rain at midnight , purvi has shown herself on the past that she can take care of herself on the streets of Mumbai when she went for various official meetings and to meet Arjun.

I don't think Archana was wrong in being upset at being kept in the dark but she was wrong in asking Purvi to get lost and in asking her to leave. No mother however angry, hurt or devastated she is, will put her child in danger, especially a girl in the dead of night. That is what irked me the most.

Yup...you hit the nail right on the middle of the head. And while we are talking about Ovi being her daughter too...and how could she leave her besides her behavior...would she have subjected Ovi to this and thrown her out like she did Purvi?? The answer is clearly no. Because Ovi has already misbehaved and done wrong in other ways and has not has to face any consequences. After slapping Purvi all Ovi got were some gentle reprimands and pleas to get all the information. Se certainly did not get slapped 3 times and thrown out for Purvis sake. So yes--- guys are right after all. She should treat all 3 daughters equally.
