"Sushant...Sushant...Sushant..." He heard muffled voices as if from a distance...

He felt water drops being sprinkled on his face and it irritated him. He wanted to tell them to stop but couldn't. He couldn't understand why they were doing that and tried to recollect what had happened. For a moment he was completely blank and then slowly everything came back to him. Feeling as if all strength had left his body, the sun being too bright and disturbingly the thought of Ankita's frightened face. At this he eventually opened his eyes. He did it with some difficulty because the sun was still bright and it was like seeing light for the very first time after a dark day. But a lot of people, (whom he couldn't recognize instantly) were standing around him building a canopy like shade...bright sunlight filtered through behind them but after a few attempts when his eyes adjusted to the brightness he opened his eyes. He then finally was able to see who all were around him and recognized worried expressions of his friends, some crew members and Abhishek as well.

His eyes slowly searched around though but weren't able to see her...he wanted to tell them and most importantly her that he was okay but she was nowhere to be seen. He slowly tried to get up and then realized that his head was nestled comfortably in some bodies lap and hence was protected from the hurt due to the fall...he looked up and saw Ankita looking down at him; she still had that fearful expression on her face which he hated. He wanted to wipe it off and wanted to see her smile so he tried to do the same...he slowly gave an expression resembling a smile to put her at ease as well as the others but before he could say anything she caressed his face and gently brushed back his hair from his forehead and asked in a choked voice " are you okay..? Sushant are you okay? Please say something..." He couldn't do much more than nod in affirmative...All of them collectively sighed in relief and he appreciated them for being so concerned and felt bad for the fright he had given them as well...he tried to get up and Ankita understood so she shifted and kneeled down while still holding his head and quickly put both her hands behind his back so he could get support to sit down.

Once he was at vantage point he addressed everyone again saying "I am okay...please don't worry...he didn't know what else to say but he hoped it was enough...

Ankita and the others made him get up and sit on a chair in a shade and he had water. He felt much better, at least better that feeling that you had no strength left in your body. But he was feeling embarrassed that this had happened for the second time...he was trying to do his best but his body was failing him...he felt helpless, he hadn't taken the medications that were given to him last time round because they made him feel sleepy but was taking proper food and intake of water...guess the heat was too much and his body had not recovered enough.

Ankita was sitting beside him, holding his hand but he found it disconcerting that she was quite. That itself was out of character for her but even so, he felt that she was keeping something to herself.

He was about to ask her when he saw Abhishek come up to him. "Sushant, you have got to visit the doctor...we thought that everything was fine since the last time, but it seems that you haven't recovered. I hoped that you would tell me if you were feeling unwell, why didn't you?"

Before Sushant could form an answer though Abhishek must have realized the futility of the question in the situation at hand so continued with " however none of that matters right now, Just see the doctor on the set for now...then we'll decide what to do."

Sushant didn't understand the last part and he realized that he must have given everybody on the set a scare. He was sorry that he hadn't listened to his body giving up...but now what was done was done...so he nodded. He looked over at Ankita and she looked back with neutral expression, which confused him...what was she thinking?!

All three of them eventually walked towards a small make do clinic with Sushant slightly leaning on Ankita for support. It was basically an army tent or at least it looked like that. Since A few people had already collapsed due to the heat, the management had come up with the remedy of having a such a accommodation just a few meters off from the main set. The better and bigger hospitals lay in the heart of the city which were quite a distance away from the sets as they were shooting at authentic location off from the main land. It served the purpose for the most part, so it was a good arrangement for them.

In the meanwhile Abhishek entered with Sushant and Ankita behind him. It was kind of dark inside with only a few bulbs flickering from the top. The Doctor did not seem to be surprised to see him at all, he wasn't sure it was a good thing or bad. Ankita in the meantime led him to the small bed and he slowly lay down. The doc did all the preliminaries, checked his fever, blood pressure and pulse. She gave him something to drink which he had obediently while Ankita and Abhishek looked on .After everything she declared that he had a minor fever but his pulse rate was low and his blood pressure was alarmingly low. She asked him, "Sushant are you taking medications that I gave you?" he nodded...the doctor was not convinced with his response so without asking him she added a few more to his previous prescription. She asked him about his diet and if he was having proper food and then it hit him that he had hardly had anything since morning...!!!He was so worried about Ankita that he barely had food, he would have lied but Abhishek had seen him avoid food at lunch...so he guiltily said, "mm...Generally yes, today...today... I didn't... feel hungry. "He sounded unconvincing to himself as well. " Sushant, how do you expect me to help you when you are not helping yourself. I told you to have a proper diet after the last episode along with medication which I doubt you have been eating at-al..." He wanted to protest but he guiltily looked down as it was true...he looked at Ankita and she looked back with concern, fear and a helpless expression on her face...he really hoped she wouldn't cry...at least not here.

The director looked at him gravely and after a while, Abhishek asked both him and Ankita to step out as he wanted to talk to the Doctor in person.

He took Ankita's support and both came out together and Immediately Sushant asked, "Ankita, you okay?"...she looked at him steadily for a while and then her eyebrows furrowed and she started crying softly. He held her tight as she won't say anything or wasn't in a position to say anything. She was the strongest person he knew...she was his strength so to see her breakdown was difficult. I t was ironical that he was comforting her when he was the one who needed to be comforted. But it didn't matter...he knew how worried she was and was glad that she found an outlet to all those emotions that were brewing inside of her. He let her vent and after a few moments she quietened herself and stepped back. She slowly put her hand on the side of his face and meant to ask him something...but couldn't. She just looked at his face as if searching for answers and he smiled to make her believe that he was going to be fine...she didn't look convinced though... so he placed his hand on top of hers and started to say something, when Abhishek came out. Both of them stepped apart but Sushant still had an arm around Ankita...it wasn't clear though who was giving whom support.

From his expression Sushant judged that the news was not a welcome one... "Sushant...I have spoken to the doctor and we both agree that you should go back to Bombay for a proper check up. I know it can be done in the main city as well but there the doctors will be known to you and you will have someone to take proper care of you"..nodding his head towards Ankita .Sushant was taken aback, so he paused for a bit and continued "No sir, I'll be fine. I will take proper medications and all and then we can resume shooting, I don't want it to suffer on my account."

But seemed the director had made up him mind so even before Ankita could protest he declared "No, nothing doing...this is the second time this has happened and I don't want you to carry on like this. You are an essential part of the movie and if you resist and don't take proper care, you will not be able shoot properly in the future. Just go and get yourself checked so you can come back absolutely fit." Sushant was about to argue so he added softly "Sushant your health is more important. If you are worried about the shoot getting delayed then don't. We will finish some scenes that don't require you and we can resume from where we left today. I want a 100% from you and that will only be when you are feeling 100%.So don't worry you are not that indispensible for us"...he joked

Sushant realized that his logic was flawless and he also wanted to give his 1000% to the movie. So this break...if not essential, was necessary. So he gave a slight smile and nodded.

"You go and rest inside now...and I will look after the arrangements..."he said.

" No sir...I'll take care of everything...please. Let me take care of it"... Ankita added..Abhishek smiled in reply and said "Sushant is my property now...for the time being at least. Everything is covered so don't worry. What you can do is tell me time your flight is...we'll get his ticket arranged so you both can leave together". Ankita looked towards Sushant and he nodded so she replied saying "7:05 in the morning sir, S**** jet". I arranged for transport to the airport so that is covered I guess?"

"Yeah...good, that should be fine. It's great that you are leaving in the morning too so Sushant will get time to rest today and journey won't be that taxing. Replied Abhishek... So get going. Both of you take rest and I'll get to work. You'll be okay my Ishaan?" That brought a huge smile on Sushant's face and he nodded...

"Thank you sir, I apologize for everything." "No need for apologies...just take care of yourself, you are precious for me. Bye Ankita, take care of him and yourself, here are the medications and tests which are to be done back home...everything is written there for your benefit. I will come and meet you both in a while." Saying that he left...

Ankita was really grateful to him and appreciated him for whatever he had done and handled the situation. Only he could convince her beloved to act logically. She was so glad that Sushant agreed gracefully in the end and would be free from guilt of any sort in taking a leave. It was one of the most frightening experiences of her life to see him like that and couldn't even contemplate it happening again.

Sushant lightly nudged her with a quizzical expression on his face when as she was looking at Abhishek's retreating form...she smiled and shook her head. He looked at him leaving to and asked naughtily..."what, you like him better than me now?" She laughed and said "never ever...I am not going anywhere." (She was glad his sense of humour had returned!) She came back with "I saw you checking out the doc...Is that why you didn't want to get proper check up? Pretty happy with the medical facilities here Han?! In mock anger...
