Hi Tanya...i have been thinking about what you are saying today about Manav's love being fake and their story shallow. For me i think it's maybe a definition of terms.. I don't think their love for each other is shallow, i think it is very very deep for both of them. But the story of their love is shallow in that the writers don't allow them to communicate at a deeper level. They operate on the surface, hiding all their true and deep feelings from each other. So, it is fake in the sense that they are playing a game, but for me, it is not that they don't truly have deep feelings for each other. I know you are mad at how Manav has treated Archana, and so am I. He did very wrong by her for all those years by teaching his children to hate their mother and allowing Savita to say the things she did. I think he was operating on hurt and anger only and hid his deep love for her even from himself. He was selfish clearly. She on the other hand always loved him deeply and never hid it from anyone who knew her, her mother, Purvi, and others. What i hate the most about all of this is the truths that are hidden and Archana's sacrifices that are unreal and unhealthy. What i am foolishly hoping for is that Manav will finally be the hero we want him to be. 😲 That he will realize at last the worth of his wife (don't you think they are beginning to show this in the storyline?). Whether the cv's will allow us this luxury is another matter. I don't want ArMan to come together sweeping all the wrongs under the carpet, but i want them to expose them, deal with them, then forgive. (except Savita should not be forgiven so easily but Archana will lead the way with that. ) I want Manav to be strong and contest his wife's wrong interpretation of sacrifice, for her sake. I want him to teach her to love and respect herself but the ONLYway for that to happen is for him to lead the way, it will only happen when he himself learns to love and respect her beyond everything. That does mean righting the wrongs he has done especially regarding the children. As to the TRP's i don't want them to come up until the writers show some responsibility with this story.
