HT: Dont want to clarify rumors-Ankita

Ankita Lokhande is unfazed by recent reports of her tantrums, arrogance and rude behaviour

Celebrities love being talked about and maintaining a good reputation, but actor Ankita Lokhande, who is labelled arrogant and a tantrumthrower, is unfazed by what people say about her. Not because she thinks any publicity is good publicity, but she feels false reports and rumours don't affect her work or fan base.

"I don't care what the so-called rumours say. My family and fans know me well and love me," claims Zee's Pavitra Rishta actor. "I can't fake emotions or actions. I say what I feel like saying and I don't make insinuations. I have called a spade a spade since childhood. But my bluntness is considered rude and arrogant. I guess truth hurts people, which evokes such responses (rumours)."

She explains that if she wants a cup of hot coffee and asks the spot boy to reheat it, people call it a tantrum. If she takes up an issue concerning her hairdresser with the upper management, it is called arrogance. "During the Zee Rishtey awards, it was reported that I wanted the biggest vanity van, which was utter nonsense. I don't want to clear my image in the media or clarify rumours as there won't be any end to it. I have got mails saying that my fans don't believe in these reports. I can't stop people from writing."

During Comedy Circus, too, she was labelled a latecomer who would hold up rehearsals and never report on time. "I was shooting 12 hours for Pavitra Rishta and eight hours for Comedy Circus. I only asked them to call me when the script was ready, which always happened close to the shoot."

The other accusation against her is for not coming clean on her 'marriage' with boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. "We have been open about our relationship, but it bugs me when people constantly ask about my marriage or suggest I am already married. This hurts my family. Marriage is a big thing and when I do it, I will announce it to the whole world."
